Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 28 Feb 2022, 06:53

Good morning.

A pleasant 22C forecast. 8-)

Away for my walk shortly and back to put the final February squat challenge to bed.

It's Dia de Andalusia today so a national holiday for this province. :cute:

It also marks the beginning of semana blanca (white week) so a week's holiday for schoolchildren.

We'll take a stroll into town later and have a look at the parades and marching bands before going to Gambrinus for a long lazy lunch. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely sunny, calm morning and 22C for us too 8-)

Washing out, more to come and that's about it for me today. Giving my back a day off

Festival starts tomorrow for us, but we won't be going into Ourique or anywhere else for that matter.

Cruiser, hope you're keeping warm x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you two, morning all :)

You sound glad to see the back of that challenge Ally ;) Well done for keeping it up :D xx

I’m sure your back will appreciate it Jan ;) xx

Well it’s quite springlike here, warmish, a little blustery, sunshine and showers :) Not sure yet whether I’ll be meeting Em later, since her mum’s heart attack she can’t always plan in advance in case she’s needed. I will ping her in a while, but will be going out anyway.

It’s B’s first day in her new job, so some VV good luck vibes would be much appreciated although I am sure she’ll be fine :) She was a bit nervous last night, but also really looking forward to it :) Harry has a double driving lesson later - his test is next Monday! Possibly Zumba tonight, will play it by ear.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Hello and good morning everyone

Ally enjoy the parades and lunch. And well done on completing the squat challenge - what does March have in store? ;-)
Jan enjoy the warmer weather and good idea about giving your back a break!
Best of luck to B in her new job - I'm sure she'll do superbly well. And fingers crossed for Harry! Not passing usually wouldn't be an issue but since Covid trying to get test appointments is nigh on impossible. Thomas did (and failed) his test back in December and the next test date they could get was for May; nightmare for the kids and expensive for the parents because the lessons need to be kept up. Hope you manage to meet up with Em, it'll be good for her to get out I'm sure.

Well what an amazing weekend it was here, esp yesterday - blue skies all the way through. I spent hours at the allotment - bliss. Unfortunately having to avoid visiting Karl and Nadine; as they're one by one testing positive. Nadine on Friday, Amelia yesterday, Karl a very faint positive line this morning so will redo a test tomorrow but is staying home today just in case. Thomas so far the only one that's negative so it will be interesting to see if he gets it or not; but for now I'm staying well away :D

Heading out to do a bit of grocery shopping in a bit - early lunch break. Was meant to be there 7,30 this morning but woke up to a number of urgent emails that came in over the weekend so dealt with them first and now it's past 10am. But that's the joys of working from home; I can fit my stuff in during working hours

Have a lovely day all x

Mega good luck first day vibes for B Kaz.

Yes....100 squats 28 days in succession was a tough one.

March's challenge will be slightly easier.

Morning all, it’s dull and damp here, rain forecast but not too cold. Off to the gym in a while, I haven’t been for two weeks, so that might be painful :? I’ve done my main chore for the day, changing the bedding, and I’ll see what I feel like doing later…..possibly not much ;)
