Was not a good day,

We had a power cut around 8 a.m. until 10-30 then it came on then off then on then off,so had a cup of h first one ,then shopping

Back home power still on ,so managed to have some lunch then gone again!

Eventually got through to a human who said "we are waiting for a specialist team to arrive they are currently 35 miles away on another job.We hope to have power by 11pm but it might be sooner, came back at 9.40p.m.

So heat no light no cooking and they want the country to go all electric!

They did however ring us during the morning to check it we were ok as we are on their priority list due to our ages and that they would text updates on progress --not another contact until we called them at 3.45.

That sounds like no fun Vic. It's good that you have family near.

Given the size of electricity bills, just think of all the money you've saved, Vic! :D
