Well I called them and as long as Thomas has a negative lateral flow today they're happy to see him.

Kaz, I totally agree with your decision; different had they had their two consecutive days of negatives; but only one day and others not vaccinated? I'm amazed they're going ahead with it to be honest ;-)

Good morning all.
Lovely sunny day here.
I've just put a bouef bourgignon in the oven to slow cook. In a while I'll do a bolognese.
That sounds like a great day Ally. Enjoy your day out Jan and I hope Nadine gets better quickly Ria.

I saw the dentist a couple of weeks since, both the dentist and the hygeneist. More or less back to normal.
You can't get much nearer to someone than have them prodding around in your mouth; I just wissh someone would tell our local GP practice, who are continuing to do exactly what they want. Blood curdling notices about not entering "the red zone", insisting on all appointments being made over the phone, not bothering to answer the phone and blocking face to face appointments as much as they can.
It's easier to get out of Alcatraz than get into a doctor's office up there.

It's so nice i will get out for a walk this afternoon. The snowdrops are a little past their best but I might play spot the daffodil.

Have a good day everybody.

That’s good Ria, I did wonder if they’d go into panic mode with him being a contact ;)

Crommers, I’ve had a couple of dentist appointments since the Summer and while the receptionists are very strict, making you stand 2m from the desk which isn’t easy when you need to sign the forms, using their sanitiser etc once in with the dentist it’s been business as normal.

Morning all :D

Bright sunshine today 8-)

The RNOH rang yesterday afternoon, E's due to see his new consultant on 8th March, fingers crossed he's added to the surgery list and doesn't have to wait too long. I got on to the transport peeps straight away so that's organised.

Heard from my sister this morning, luckily the floods they're experiencing in Queensland hasn't affected Eumundi where she lives, but the roads into Noosa, not far away, are blocked. They've had 17 inches so far, it's still coming down and is expected to continue over the weekend.

Usual Friday wash day, the washing machine seems to be okay so long as I don't use the programme that tripped the electrics. Luckily I didn't use that setting often and haven't spoken too soon, really don't want the expense of a new machine.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Wowser, that was a day and half

Did Tesco in Almancil, ferlippin' expensive  Everything seems to have gone up at least a euro or two

But I got a bargain for the vacuum cleaner :Hi: From almost 200€, down to 127  :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: Cordless, Bosch, so well pleased.

Did all sorts of other shops too, the boot and back seat was full

Met Grumpy at the bar, then Joaquinha arrived early from work, so we had a few beers. Not a hope of me cooking, too knackered, so had a lovely pizza (and I don't like pizza  )

But oh the joy of walking around Aldi, down in Guia and checking the cheapo prices. Can't wait for the one to open here :D

Will try out the new vacuum tomorrow :Hi:

And he cat is sulking, as I was out most of the day
