Morning all :D

Dull and overcast today, but not too much wind.

Well done to B Kaz, she's really done so well x

Chris the electrician was brilliant, he's fixed all the lighting and even sorted out a couple of other problems he found, £60 well spent. The kitchen and bathroom are much brighter now. We'll definitely use him again if needed and we'd be more than happy to recommend him.

Hope you all managed to survive the storm without damage. Fb is full of people locally who have had problems. One lady's chimney came down on her conservatory roof, it looks a mess. We were lucky, a couple of pots flew across the garden and we have even more palm leaves strewn everywhere, but that's about it thank goodness.

It's Noah's birthday, he's 12

No plans for us, we'll play catch up with the Winter Olympics this afternoon. I'm not too bothered with all the skiing etc, but I love to see the ice skating.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good afternoon.
Well done to B!
We have been for a paper and to drop our daughter off; she has gone to a local pub to have lunch with an old friend.
An absolutely foul day here. Not windy now but cold, and it is raining. That heavy, sleety rain that chills you right through.
Driving to the pub we had to stop on the road - to let ducks cross from one field to another!
And it certainly is the weather for ducks right now!
Have a good day all.

eta - Cruiser's snow has arrived now.

Our son and his gf went on holiday yesterday to the East coast, traveling in the gale.
This morning they took the bus from Runswick Bay to Sandsend and then walked to Whitby, a walk he described as "bracing". I bet it was!
