Morning all, it’s a miserable day here. We will be heading off to Cork in a while and I hate driving in the rain We had a lovely time yesterday evening with our friends from Newry - something to eat then dancing, they had not danced in two years but remembered most of the dances. We dropped them back to their hotel on our way home. Right, better get moving!

Ferry was out in Solent anchored for 4hours! during the worst of the storm yesterday waiting for weather to calm down a bit before entering Portsmouth harbour

Well we’re currently having breakfast in Portivo Lounge as it’s wet out there, and too windy for Corretto’s to put their awnings up! Nice though, Mick and Becky having breakfast muffins - toasted muffin with bacon, sausage and egg on top I’m having brown toast from a bloomer loaf with butter and marmite Been to SW, Becky got Slimmer of the Week, the prize being a big bag full of fruit, eggs, tinned tuna, SW bars etc. Very handy. The idea is everyone brings in a little something either “free” on the plan, or very low in “syns” and the SOTW gets it as their prize. Suffice to say I have never won it The usual Saturday stuff here, Harry is working, Fraggle is out with us three, and we’re off to D’s in a while

Vacuum cleaner just packed up, so we've been looking for a new one. Hate boring shopping like that, but Radio Popular have a couple of good Bosch prices, so it's off down to the Algarve next week.

Would prefer Wortens, as it's closer, but hopefully I'll go down with Jan, rather then Grumpy

Yes, a fair bit Jan as she’s struggled since last summer but she’s really back into it now. 11lbs in the last couple of weeks

Good morningeverybody.

We have had some of the white stuff. It has turned to rain. Managed to get my shopping done before it started.
It now looks as iof the sun is trying to come out as it is getting brighter.
Have done some ironing afterv washing yesterday. Have left the sheets till tomorrow.
Will relax this afternoon watching TV.

Kaz, I like the sound of the breakfast muffins. Would love to have one but not allowed as I am on a sugar free diet.
