Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another lovely, sunny morning, Hazy sun this morning, but quite warm 8-)

Late start after rather a boozy afternoon yesterday  Totally unplanned :Hi: We popped down to the bar, to check the post (which we forgot about anyway   ) and also the recycling bins, as we're getting full up.

Steve arrived, then Joaquihna and then Mitchell. so after numerous beers, got home. Not doing a bbq, I said, too late and getting cold (and dark) shall we just have pizza and chips? So that was the emergency pizza out of the oven and used the chips I had already peeled, ready for the burgers on the bbq.

Watering to be done this morning, no rain forecast and although most of our plants are happy enough, the veg needs watering.

Apart from that, not a lot going on, Might do some weeding, might just have a lazy day 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s a nice bright morning here. We will be off out to dance practice in a while, then back to be here for Michael and Kellie after school. Usual madness will ensue! But we love it :D

We heard the other day that our former hairdresser is rather ill - he did my hair, his wife did Edward’s, and they retired in the summer of 2020. He apparently got a serious blood infection, it took ages to diagnose and it has affected his heart. They are still trying to clear the infection and then he will have heart surgery to replace a valve. We met his wife and she told us, although they are keeping it low key, they are a quiet couple. She was very upset telling us as you can imagine. They were in holiday in Lanzarote in November and had a great time, cycling daily, walking and so on, but he started feeling unwell around Christmas.

Morning all :D

Bit dull and overcast, looks like the sun's trying to come through.

Nightmare day yesterday, our electricity tripped out twice in quick succession in the morning. I rang the two numbers we'd been recommended, neither answered so I put a recommendation request on our local FB page, but before anyone on there answered one of the electricians I'd rung earlier phoned me back. He was really helpful, talked me through it and it turns out it's a fault with the washing machine. Had to turn it off at the switch and wait for a while to get the blooming thing opened. Probably means a new machine :(

Then when I was ready to go off to the hairdresser the car wouldn't go into gear. It's happened before, but with a bit of jiggling it's okay, no joy, had to call a taxi to get me there and back again.

This morning I was due a call anytime between 9am-2pm from my GP with the ankle MRI results. Lucky I got up early, the call came through just before I got in the shower, will do a post on the health board.

Was planning to drive to Westwood Cross and M&S before lunch today. Will have to see if the car will move, if not it's a taxi trip again. Need to to phone round and find a mechanic, I have home start so will do a bit of research and if necessary call Green Flag to have it taken to a garage. More fun and games.........and expense. Definitely not my week!!

Hope you all have a good day xx

It's gone grey  Warm, but grey.

Ouch Jen, hope it's not too expensive.

Laptop went bonkers, almost as if it returned to factory settings, all in Portuguese  Turned it off, made the curry, turned it back on, very slow and then back all in Portuguese.

Popped down to Chris and Lucy's, tried it there and was all okay    Now back home and back to normal.

Afternoon all :)

It's one of those changeable days here - sunshine, then cloud. Quite springlike though, and there are quite a few plants and trees starting to bud. I hope the cold weather that is forecast for next week doesn't kill it all off :cute:

Sainsbury's this morning, after I'd done the cleaning. The ironing can wait until tomorrow. Pilates tonight  It will get easier to turn out for it when the evenings are lighter.

Love to all xxx

Good afternoon.
A chilly day here with a cold wind.
I've taken the old child car seat out and put the new one in., then baked a loaf and some bread rolls.
Off to the gun club tonight.
Blimey Jen, that's a day and a half!
I hope that you are all enjoying your days.
