I didn't realise you had five beds

Neither did I

No, it was marketed as four bedrooms with a potential fifth, but that room we use as the office.
The small living room on the ground floor was shown as the dining room on the plans but the kitchen is plenty big enough for the dining table, ours seats six even before we’ve extended it, so it felt like we’d be wasting a room if we put the table in there. It’d only be used for half an hour a day whereas it’s used a lot as a second living room.

You use it far more sensibly 8-) :D They're marketing it as six to make more money, I suppose

Talking just now to our newish next door neighbour about our blown-down party fence, she told us that she's sold up!

She bought the bungalow next door for £375,500 in July 2021 but has now decided she's rather be closer to her daughter down Charmouth way. We had no inkling - apparently it sold within 3 days, I'm told to an elderly gentleman who has a daughter in town. I've just had a look at the "usual suspect" estate agent and the asking price was £420,000. So potentially £44,500 profit in 8 months .... crazy!

She has had it converted back into a 3 bed configuration - Sheila who was in previously had had the partition between Bed 3 and the sitting room removed to make one longer room, which probably wasn't exactly an enhancement, so the current lady probably made it more "saleable" by restoring it.

That's a big hike! Prices are really getting silly, aren't they? It's a very nice property, but even so..... :?
