Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 07 Feb 2022, 07:13

Good morning.

We're lucky living here to be afforded good weather virtually all year round with mild winters but throwing the duvet off two nights running in February is a new one.

Boring Brenda reporting warm and sunny again today. 8-)

I'm going for a walk this morning through the pine forest which has a lovely trail and goes up high and back round on itself. :D

Yesterday's lunch was extended to 9pm  as friends joined us and it got a bit mad.

A nice pootly day at home today methinks. :D

Have a good one.

Morning all :D

Up at silly o'clock, taking the car to Kwik Fit for a new exhaust. Fingers tightly crossed the current one doesn't fall off before we get there. It will be too early to get a bus back, it bound to be filled with peeps going to work and school children. We'll probably stagger to the Royal Pavilion (spoons) for brekkie.

Will catch up properly later, hope you all have a good day xx

Morning Ally, Jen (not often I say that Jen ;) ) and everyone

Lovely and sunny again this morning, still chilly, but warming up to 21C later 8-)

Hope you and the car made it in one piece Jen x

Washing machine going, cat kicked out - literally  She has a habit of peering out of the front door, sniffing the air, then gets her front half out, but with one or two legs inside, just in case. This morning, she had a helping foot, as the cold was coming in  Just a gentle helping push, nothing nasty ;)

Giving my back a day off today, did a lot of weeding yesterday. Will probably just read, once I've done a few boits and bobs inside.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, Kaz I can confirm that it’s cold  Nice and sunny though.

We’re gradually getting back to normal here. I’ve taken Bill for a long walk and John’s gone back to work. There’s just Joe isolating now, and he’s feeling much better and is bored.

I’ve done two loads of washing so that’s all on the line, I’ll have a clean up when I’ve finished this coffee and I’ve got to throw out the flowers that Amanda sent Joe. He was upset about Bill so she sent him a Bloom & Wild delivery 3 weeks ago and they’ve last this long, I’m very impressed! They’ve been beautiful!
I’ve got a vase of daffs to take their place.

Hope that B has a good last week!

Hope all goes well with the car Jen x

Have a good day all :D

Good morning everyone

Ally, enjoy the weather; as has been reported by a few people this morning - it's a tad nippy here :D
Jan, definitely good idea to take it easy
Cruiser hope you have a good day and find what you want at the ironmonger; not many of them about anymore these days
Jo, glad you're all getting back to normal again and wow re the flowers; 3 weeks is good going (and sorry if I missed whatever it was with Bill?)
Hope Becks has an enjoyable last week Kaz, and you enjoy meeting up with your WW friends
Jen, hope you got the car to the garage OK; how was breakfast?

Last day for me at Karl and Nadine's as Nadine gets back tomorrow morning. I've loved having the extra time with Thomas and Amelia, but am also looking forward to my me time at home again ;-)

Have a lovely day everyone x

Good morning.
We have been for a paper and to fill the car up.
Freezing Fred here Ally, reporting that the wind is icy again.
Some nice days on here today.
We might nip out to try and get a new car seat (again) or just get on on line.
Have a nice day all.

Just got back, £362 light :o but at least it's done. It's guaranteed for 3yrs, fingers crossed it lasts a lot longer than that. We had a nice brekkie, it's absolutely ages since we were up and out early enough to think about it.

We just popped down to the bar for a coffee.

And got a huge bag of coffee grounds. Apparently, voles don't like it, so Grumpy has filled in all the holes with it and what's left, has sprinkled around, so fingers crossed it works.

Ouch Jen
