Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 05 Feb 2022, 07:52

Good morning.

Lovely again. 8-)

I've been for a quick run and now enjoying a coffee whilst Don and Conor are still giving it zzzzz's.

Conor is taking us out for lunch. :D

He's off to a school friends 30th birthday party tonight.
Us oldies will get a Chinese takeaway and watch a film....yet to decide which one. :D

Have a great day.

Best wishes to the bride and groom Gal. :Hi:

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely, sunny morning and we're in for a few rather warm days 8-)

Before I head out into the garden, I'm going to scrub the kitchen floor. Grumpy mops it every week, but it needs a proper clean. one day, I will borrow a friends steam cleaner thingy and do the whole house.

Might pop down to the bar, pre curry and rugby this afternoon.

Hope all goes well Gal xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all.
Grey here but not too cold.
I've been for a paper, off to Huddersfield soon.
Ally, do you do your run early to beat the heat? Jan, we could do with a steam cleaner as well.
MrsC has gone with our daughter and Eliza to gymnastics.
Not sure what we're doing this afternoon. Enjoy the rugby, Cruiser.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :)

A film and takeaway sounds great Ally :D xx

Jan, I must get my steamer out again! I’ve gone back to using a flash mop lately, but the steamer really gets into the corners and the skirtings  xx

Cruiser, enjoy the rugby xx

Have a good one, Crommers xx

It’s freezing here, and we’re outside Corretto’s under the patio heaters   :cute: Soon to make a move up to D’s though - Mick is putting up her new curtain pole today. A quick trip to Sainsbury’s later, than home. B is with us, but H is at work. I did go to SW earlier, but least said soonest mended…. :?

I hope the wedding goes well today for Gal’s family :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all, it’s a grey dampish day here. Kellie is here for a few hours, Miss Osc has gone away for the night and SIL and Michael were going to football, so I’ll be bringing Kellie to her dance class. While we were at the door, the couple across the road were going for a walk and came over to thank me for my note. Obviously they both look so tired and stressed. They had lots of people for the wake yesterday, there were still people there close to midnight. The funeral is this afternoon.

Gal, have a great day at the wedding! Looking forward to seeing the photos :D

Morning all, it’s raining here after a sunny start.

I’ve been waiting for a couple of parcels delivered by Royal Mail but in true RM style only one has turned up. For the second time in under two weeks one has been sent to the wrong delivery office, it’s a present for Tom’s birthday on Wednesday so I’m hoping that it’s rerouted to the right one (just 5 miles from the wrong office) and delivered here rather than returned to the sender which is what happened with last time :x

I’ve got to go to a Tesco this afternoon for a few things and I think I’ll pop into the wool shop in Hednesford while I’m nearby. I’ve almost finished the blanket for our great niece Daisy who was born this week and I’m now feeling guilty about not making one for the other one, little Layla who was born just before Christmas

Have a lovely time with Scarlett, Saundra x

Kaz, I’ve been doing exactly the same…using a Flash mop and ignoring the steamer!

Have a good day all x

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny now, but I think we had heavy rain overnight.

Jan I love our steam cleaner, apart from the two bedrooms our flooring throughout is porcelain, it would be hard work with a mop and bucket.
Saundra have a lovely day with Scarlett.

SIL tested positive today, probably too much to hope he'd escape with the rest of the household down with it. I don't think he had his booster either.

Not much happening here, it's bed change day so the sheets are in the wash. Expect we'll watch a film this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Given the weeding a miss, it's a really strong north wind and bitterly cold. Gorgeous at the front of the house, out of the wind

We're used to mopping, as this house and the one down in Fuzeta both have tiles of the floors. No need to buy a steamer, when I can borrow one ;)

So that was done, I've made some naan bread. The dough is proving in the sun 8-) Had a rummage in the freezers and found some steaks, so with pork steaks, that's tomorrow's bbq sorted :Hi:

Meeting friends down at the bar later and Grumpy will be giving me a hair cut, once I've managed to get a shower.

Such a sad time for your neighbours Osc.
