It’s so sad isn’t it? I’m always shocked at the speed of wakes/funerals in NI, here it could take up to a month!

Tom and I have been to Dalton Park this morning, an outlet shopping centre near us. He wanted a shirt to wear for the evening do tomorrow (wedding day at last) so we got that then went for a coffee before returning home. I’ve made a small alteration to my dress, the top felt a bit big when I tried it again last week so I’ve taken it in roughly. Hope it holds!

Weather is windy and bright with the odd shower, we passed through a sleety one!

Have a good Friday all, Jo that’s great news that you’re free!! Xx

Good evening.
It's been quite a busy day, and a blinking cold one.
We have been to Aldi and B&M, to the paper shop, Sainsbury's and to Halford's in a fruitless attempt to buy a new car seat for Eliza.
We went there to support your local shop and picked a seat only for the assistant (who was run off his feet) to tell us it wasn't in stock. Amazon here we come.
I've cooked out tea and opened a bottle of Portuguese red wine. We've had a few bottles of Portuguese red and been pleasantly surprised.
Jan, a holiday? You off to Skeggy? ;)
I hope you've all has a good day.

I meant Kaz 8-)

I've have actually been looking at Fuzeta, where we used to live, but need the infection rate to come down a lot more first.

Just found out a friend died a couple of weeks ago. He'd been ill for a long time, a brain tumour.

Been grey and not that warm all day. We even had some drizzle earlier. Nopt much, but the now weed free flower beds are a different colour. Amazing how 15C can feel so cold. I'm sat in the "garden room" with a thick jacket on and a blanket over my legs - just like a proper granny

This is the holiday we moved from May '20 to May '21, and then on to this May, thanks to covid :cute: It actually looks like we might get there this time, so I've dared to put a ticker on  ;)

Psssst Gal, I don’t live in NI, I live in Ireland ;) I’m always amazed at how long funerals take in the UK!
