Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 03 Feb 2022, 07:34

Good morning.

Forget Spring weather...it's like late May temps here. 8-)

Off for my walk soon.

We were out all day yesterday so today I'm grabbing a
sunbed and going to laze in the garden and read.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

More sun than cloud this morning, but still warmer than normal.

Curry making this morning and scrubbing some of the potatoes Grumpy dug up from the garden. I'll put them in the stew for later. I'm going to make dumplings too   Not made them for years.

Just have to go and make a list for Iceland, as some friends have just told me they're going down this morning.

ave a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

Lots of grey clouds but no rain yet. Will be going for the paper now the chidren have gone to school.
May do some washing as the basket iis getting full.
Have altered an appointment to see the consultant and have my eyes checked. Wanted me togo to a hospital which would have meant three buses.
Have now got one at a health centre which is in walking distance.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning you two, morning everyone

It's unseasonably warm here as well; so many plants budding now that shouldn't be - going to cause mayhem in February / March if it turns cold then like it has the past few years.

Enjoy the lazy day on the sunbed Ally and Jan enjoy the curry making

Cruiser, glad you managed to change the appointment - walking distance is infinitely better than three buses!

well another usual / usual for me. Working at home this morning then heading over to Karl's for a call at noon and then straight after heading out to pick up Thomas from college; will sort them both with lunch (well Thomas does his own, I'll make sure Amelia has something decent) and then back home for a few hours. Off to see Dolly 9-5 musical this evening

Have a lovely day everyone xxx

Good morning everyone.

It cannot make its mind up here. Partly sunny but some of the grey clouds look ominous though it is supposed to brighten up in the afternoon.

Enjoy the reading, dumplings and lunch making, and a good walk beats three buses hands down Cruiser.

A dedicated fluids shop for me a bit later as I have run out of fruit juices and milk, then not a lot of anything else.

Have a good one.....

Morning all :D

Looks as though we had rain overnight, but it's nice and bright now.

Enjoy the musical this evening Ria, nothing quite like live theatre.

We're driving over to Westwood Cross before lunch, want a few bits from M&S.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Now all cloudy  but still warm 8-)

Looks like we're not getting any rain until next month, so Grumpy is out painting. Curry made - a tad too warm  - and I'm heading out to dig up some daisies in the flower beds and see if I can put them back into the bare spots.

Morning all, it’s sunny and quite mild although very breezy here.

Housework has been done and the washing’s blowing around on the line. Joe’s feeling a bit better today.

I’ll do more crochet after lunch I think and I’ve got the latest episode of This Is Us to watch.

Have a good day all :D

Good afternoon all.
I have been to see the consultant for my six month check up. All is well, he is happy; he did however look at today's x-ray and tell me that my right hip is pretty bad too. Ho hum. his advice is to wait and see how it goes this year and review things then.
We are having Eliza this afternoon and we will be going out for a pub lunch, so that will be nice.
Have a good day all.

Afternoon all, I seem to have been busy doing nothing this morning! Our dance practice this morning wasn’t on. I changed the bedding. Miss Osc popped in to collect something and stayed for a bit of a chat which was nice. Sadly it has been confirmed about the young lad across the road :( I have just put a note through their letterbox with our condolences and offering any help we can give.

Michael and Kellie will be here soon - we are bringing them home this evening and staying with Kellie until Michael and SIL get home from football, as Miss Osc is going out.
