Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 02 Feb 2022, 07:01

Good morning.

Gorgeous again. 8-)

Off for a walk shortly.

Don will go to the outdoor gym and be back for 10.30 as Liam is phoning from San Francisco.
Funny how Don can be punctual for that but takes on a Captain Slow persona for any other time deadline.

We're going to los patios to Carre Four and no doubt C&A will get a visit.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Stunning sunrise and we're in for another warm day 8-)

Guessing you're enjoying your retirement Ally :Hi:

Off to Castro Verde market this morning We need to replace all the cabbages those blasted critters ate  and also get some more red onions, as we lost a few of those too

Back to the joy that is Pingo and a pit stop for coffee and post box check on the way back.

Not sure what we'll do this afternoon, might have a bbq :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s very dreary here. We are going to B&Q for something Edward wants, and also to Home Focus as I want to get some wool. Supermarket shop due 4-6 although last week it came at 3pm.

Very sad day here yesterday, it would appear that the body of the 19 year old son of the couple living across the road from us was taken out of the harbour. I haven’t had it confirmed but there was constant coming and going at the house all day, including the police, and many people visibly very distressed.

Good morning everyone.

It is dull and drizzly here, but not too cold.

I am just getting things ready for the funeral of my little old lady, Zoe, at 2:15 this afternoon. Because of Covid there will be the traditional funeral at her local church then the coffin will go for a 'remote' cremation, which will be filmed by the celebrant for us to view. It is a strange situation and I am not exactly clear why it is being done this way.

Osc, what terrible news for the lad's family and friends and all those who knew him.

Stay warm and safe peeps. xx

Morning all :D

Nice and bright here.

Osc how sad.
Hope the funeral goes as well as it can this afternoon WM.

Z and Zachery have now tested positive, so that's all of them except for SIL

We had a good trip into town yesterday, managed to get all the bits we went in for. It was quite windy, but not really cold. Being lazy today.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Such sad news Osc.

It is positively spring like here :Hi: The market was half empty, but we got what we wanted.

Grumpy now putting in the new plants and we've been saving the 6 litre water bottles, rather than recycling and they're all rattling around in the wind down there  Seems to be helping

Hope the family don't get too bad with it Jen x

And hope the funeral went as well as it could WM x

We're thinking of popping down to the bar for a beer later. Today or tomorrow, to enjoy the afternoon warmth 8-) And to see other people

Good afternoon.
Dull and grey here but not cold.
We are looking after Eliza this afternoon.
Osc, what a terrible thing. How sad for the lad and his loved ones.
I hope the funeral goes OK WM.
Jen, strange how sometimes everyone gets it, and other times not.
Have a good day all.

We still haven’t confirmed about the boy. We don’t know them very well, they have only been there a few years, although they would stop for a brief chat if we met them. Things are quiet over there today. I would love it not to be true, but there was definitely something major happening there yesterday.

Oh Osc, if confirmed that is terribly sad - tragic :( :(

Frank, I hope the funeral went as well as it could xxx

Jen, best wishes to all the poorlies xxx

Harry and I have been out, as he wanted to buy some PS4 games with his birthday money, so we walked into town. Firstly we had a cuppa with my friend J, she and H get on, so him joining us was fine 8-) Popped into D's on the way home. Her new curtains have arrived, so if the fittings arrive before the weekend that will be a job for Mick. Zumba tonight, I'm still not feeling 100% but had better make the effort.

Love to everyone :) xxx
