Morning Al and all :D

I’m feeling almost back to normal…but John’s tested positive this morning! He’s got a headache, sore throat and blocked nose. I’m gutted, for the last two days and nights I’ve had the bedroom and en suite to myself and they’ve all sat in the little living room at night watching TV while I’ve been in the main living room - and I’ve not had to cook!

Might start a jigsaw and I’m crocheting a baby blanket for another great niece who is due to arrive in the next couple of weeks. I need to find a new series too, I’ve been hooked on Cheer on Netflix, not something I’d normally be drawn to but I’m in awe at the talent of the kids involved!

Have a good day all!

good morning Ally and Jo, morning everyone

First, a quick update from Jan - she messaged last night to say they were heading into Ourique this morning; the sim has been delivered to the local post office. So hopefully she will be able to log on a bit later today and update herself; fingers crossed

Oh no Jo, that's not good news re John but so glad to read you're feeling almost back to normal. Although by the sounds of it I think you should milk it a bit longer and enjoy having some quality me time :D

Ally, enjoy the meet up with your friend and as always enjoy that Friday beer and tapas x

Well early transfer from my house to Karl and Nadine's - Amelia has a 9am lesson so I said I'd get here in time for that; wasn't expecting the car windows to be frosted over ;-). Will be leaving here just after 11 to take Thomas for his dental appointment and then I'll be at my home for the afternoon. Ten-pin bowling this evening, looking forward to that; I'm absolute rubbish but it's always such fun :D

Have a lovely day everyone xx

Morning all, it’s a nice day here. Edward is going to play golf shortly and I will going to the gym in a while. Dancing this evening :D No word about Michael’s wrist this morning, last night Miss Osc said he seemed ok and was in bed asleep.

Oh no Jo, just when you were feeling better

Good moprning everybody.

Went to see the nurse this morning after another blood test. Took the results of the twice daily tests I am doing for the blood/sugar levels.
She ispleased that they have come down to normal levels. I am missing having chocolate and cakes. It is a sugar free diet with plenty
of salads and green veg.

Have been Tesco for some more shopping. A Lidle store will be opening close shortly so may try that soon.
Now just pootling.
Have a good day everybody.

Quite bright here.

Enjoy your walk Ally.
Glad you're feeling a lot better Jo. Sorry about John, hope he isn't too poorly.
Thanks for the update Ria, fingers crossed Jan makes it back here today.
Hope Michael's wrist is recovering well Osc.
Well done Cruiser.

Good morning everyone.

Well done with the bloods Cruiser. Poor you, Jo, what with Bill and now John, at least you have not had to cook. Sounds like a busy day for you, Ria, and good to hear that Michael's wrist is OK, Osc. Jen I am having a similar day to yours sans any deliveries.

I have been up since silly o'clock due to a boil coming out on my cheek. I have been putting tea bag poultices on to try to draw it but no luck so far.

Ah well, keep on keeping on everyone.

Morning everyone

Bright, sunny with a cool breeze. Chris is wandering around in a t-shirt, I've got my fleece on

Nelson is coming up early this afternoon, to sort out the water balloon, as we have air in it.

This afternoon, we're taking Rita down to the bar and have a few drinks whilst waiting for David to come back from the Algarve and then we have favas for dinner.

Jo, hope you all feel better soonest xx

enjoy the rest of the day everyone, whatever you're doing xx
