Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 25 Jan 2022, 07:26

Good morning.

Forecast sunny and 18 degrees. Yesterday's shower lasted 10 minutes. :?

My walk shortly. Only a week left of my challenge...I have another one planned for February.

As I was out for hours yesterday I want a nice day at home today. :D

Have a good one.

Up at silly o'clock, it's the dentist for both of us, fillings :o I'm already in a state. Wishing it was Wednesday already.

Will catch up properly later............

Morning you two, morning everyone

Enjoy the home day Ally - they're much needed sometimes
Jen, good luck at the dentist (((hugs))) you'll be just fine I'm sure x

Well a quick bit of work, then picking up Thomas from college just after midday and then working from their house for the afternoon. So the usual mix of pootling and working ;-)

I messaged Jan this morning - the car is back from repairs which is one good thing. Their router has also arrived, but apparently needs a sim that they didn't send / forgot to include so now they're waiting for that to arrive; so for now still without internet access.

have a lovely day all x

Morning, it’s another dull and dreary day. Nothing but h/work on the schedule today. I’m also doing really well with a jigsaw, and only have a couple of chapters left of the book I am reading. Edward has gone to play golf.

Well I survived, E said I came out looking as though I was in shock  Next check up isn't until October, fingers tightly crossed I don't need to go back before that comes round.

Thanks for the update Ria, hope Jan doesn't have another long wait for the sim to arrive.

Good afternoon everyone.
I'm glad you survived the dentist Jen, it's never a laugh a minute.
I do hope Jan gets sorted out soon.
We have been to Sainsbury's and are having Eliza from 2.30pm and overnight.
A fruitless half hour was spent talking to BT this morning. I want a 4K BT box to make the most of my 4k TV. Bt have BT4K boxes (unsurprisingly). Can I get one from them? No.
Apparently when my contract is up for renewal in August I can get one. If I upped my package to include entertainment could I have one please? Computer says no.
Not the BT customer service guy's fault, he was very willing and pleasant. But the IT system was implacable so I will have to look online.
A rotten day here, grey and raw, absolutely freezing. Bonus though - in the far recesses of a cupboard, MrsC found me a pair of thermal gloves!
Have a good day all.

Good day everyone.

It is still at 0 °C here with a hint of snow in the air.

I am not a dentist fan, Jen, so feel your pain.

Hope Jan eventually gets sorted - all that delay just for as simple SIM.

Cromwell, those all-singing 4k boxes look a bit expensive when you can get a freebie at renewal in August, especially those with recording capabilities. Not to be mistaken for the Full HD 1080p types.

Keep warm peeps, it's getting colder.
