Good morning all.
Ally, you must wear out your trainers!
A nice morning here, sunny again but not overly warm.
Dentists for me this morning, deep joy. It must be nearly two years since I last went.
This afternoon we need to do the weekend shop. I will have a steady walk this afternoon, not too far.
Have a great day everyone.

Morning all, it’s dull but dry here. Edward is heading off to play golf and I think I’l pop to the nearest shopping centre to get vitamins and have a mooch around Dunnes Stores. This afternoon we’ll go for something to eat before our earlier than usual dance social - this may be the last week of it having to finish by 8pm as it looks as if our government is about to lift most restrictions.

Morning all.

Another beautiful cool, crisp and sunny day here.

Weekend shop, as per Cromwell, and maybe a drive out to the park for a walk.

Have a good one everyone.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Thanks for all the good wishes. Yesterday's appointment was a bit depressing, I'll update my original post on Women's Health.

Normal Friday, the washing's on the go. I popped a casserole in the slow cooker first thing so that's dinner taken care of. Expecting a delivery from Sainsbury's between 1-2pm, oh the excitement.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Went to have another blood test. Expecting a long queue. But only three people waiting. So quickly in. THe went to do some shopping.
Bought some more cards form a shop which is closing down. THey say there will be no passing trade when the new development starts.
It is in an old arcade and one end will be blocked off. Puling the market down to buld apartments, a bowling alley and a hotel.
Np mention of a car park. The contract was not put out to tender. A Chinese firm is the main contractor. Never heard of them before.

Lots of grey clouds but no frost this morning.
Have a good day everybody.

Afternoon everyone :)

My day started with some much-needed housework, then I walked into town to get some cleaning bits from the pound shop. Watched Bargain Hunt and the news with D. Not been home long, but I've made some veggie soup for my dinner later. Becky is out tonight, and there's quiche and potato wedges for M and H.

I need to soak off my gel nails tonight, and do new ones. It's a faff, but only needs doing every couple of weeks or so ;)

Take care all :) xxx

That seems like a good meal plan for us too Kaz - cheers!

Passed a terrible accident on my way into town this morning, few minutes earlier and I might’ve been in it!! Car had gone though the barriers and fallen on its roof on to the mway below :o That stretch of road is particularly bad for accidents in the past few years, you may have heard of the horrible one last July where the truck driver responsible has just received a jail sentence. It's even made the MSN news page! Home safely now, traffic wasn't as bad as anticipated getting home although I went a VERY long way round, through many villages, to avoid the busiest routes. Our village is one of them, we lead directly from the Mway and there's no other routes, so all the vehicles on the Mway are diverted through ours.....I'm glad I went the long way!! Northbound is still standstill, expected to reopen around 6.30pm. SB is ok now - further updates on FB reveal the driver of the upturned car and his passenger were ok, and no fatalities, thank God!! Can you imagine driving along and seeing a car flying over the road coming DOWN!! Lizzy it must be a thing lately....mindblowing!

Not sure if I posted earlier but Lily tested positive for Covid last Sunday. She's fine but as we looked after her for a couple of hours last Friday, we've had to do daily LFT tests - negative thankfully so we can go about our daily stuff, but she can't wait for tomorrow when she can go out again! She had her first negative result today, has to test neg again tomorrow and then she's out! D cannot wait either, they're all fine but obv D couldn't work as she had to stay home to care for Lily. I must say, what a faff it is to do daily tests!!! Don't eat 30 minutes beforehand, wash hands, wash hands, wash hands.....tiny vials to pour fluid into blah blah.....can you tell I've not done one before??? Well I've done enough now thankyou!!

Jen sorry to hear your appointment didn't go as well as hoped xx
