Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 18 Jan 2022, 07:04

Good morning.

Nice again. 8-)

Day 18 of my walking challenge. :cute:

More walking late morning as Don and I are going to drive to the start of the beach, park up and instead of turning right we'll go to the left and there's a great nature trail to follow. Lots of wild bird lookout stations and different plants, etc.
This walk will be at a pleasant pace and not my power walking nonsense.

TV tonight. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally and Saundra, morning everyone

Ally that walk sounds amazing, lots of photo opportunities hopefully
Saundra, blue skies and sunshine here as well but also oh so very nippy. The water containers I have for the chickens keep freezing over.

had an early start this morning to get some shopping done, then leaving here around 11.30 to pick up Thomas from college and then work from their house until Karl gets home. I've got left over roast chicken from Sunday so will take that with me and make a chicken pie for us for dinner. Perfect pie weather :D

have a lovely day everyone xx

Morning all, it’s fairly bright here, cold but no frost. Edward has just headed off to play golf. I’ve no real plan for the day, h/work I suppose, then jigsaw/reading/crochet.

Morning all :D

Dull and misty here

We're up a bit early, planning to drive into town shortly. E needs a haircut and I need to pop into Boots. Don't intend to hang around for too long, it's looking a tad chilly out there.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Hi everyone.

It's blue on blue here and warm, well if 8 °C is your thing. In the sun it feels a lot warmer.

Got to take the car to the garage as the rear near side tyre keeps going down. It stays solid for ages when topped up then just goes soft - slow puncture? I hope it is that rather than the cast alloy wheel failing. That would be costly.

Enjoy what's left of your day.

Good afternoon all.
It was -1 when we went for a paper this morning, and very frosty. We had to scrape the car windows before we set off.
We need to get our prescriptions this afternoon and maybe get some money out of the atm.
Amazon have now decided that they will take Visa credit cards after all. Thanks lads, I appear to have got a Sainsbury's Mastercard that is now surplus to requirements.
Keep warm everybody.

Evening everyone :)

It's been a very cold day here, but I've managed to get my 10k steps in. Popped in to see D on my travels, she's expecting Poppy and her parents later, they're staying until Thursday. She was baking up a storm - a chocolate sponge, cupcakes, and a steak pie! Lucky them, D's baking is to die for. I got a slice of cheese on toast :P    8-) I went to Zumba last night, and ache a bit today  I need to get back into it properly

Crommers, we also took out a new card for Amazon - unnecessarily as it now transpires :cute: :cute:

Stay warm everyone xxx

Glad I decided to wait and see, I was planning to use my M&S card if necessary, but I had a feeling they would change their mind.
