Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 10 Jan 2022, 07:09

Good morning.

A lovely 21 degrees forecast. 8-)

My walk shortly. On January 1 I set myself a challenge of 50 10km walks in 50 days. No running. So far, so good.

I've been out and about all weekend so I'm planning a quiet day at home reading. :D

Have a good one.

Morning Ally, morning all

Enjoy the walks Ally - please tell me you're not doing runs as well as the walks???? :D

Another nippy start to the day but dry for now, so that's good. I'll be heading to the office a bit later today - usually I'd leave the house between 7.30 and 8am but today decided to rather work from home for a few hours this morning and catch a train after 9.30; it's just so much cheaper and doesn't make a difference really where I work. Meeting up with a friend for dinner this evening which will be nice.

Nothing else exciting going on

have a lovely day all x

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

Dull, grey and damp this morning  Bi of a shock after the last few days of lovely sunshine and hitting 20C  But it's a lot warmer 8-)

Not sure if the washing will be going in and then out, we'll see. I'll strip the bed anyway.

I had planned some outdoorsy work stuff this morning, but that's now on hold :cute: so it may just be a lazy, reading type of day.

Jose Felipe coming up this afternoon - he had work related problems yesterday, so couldn't make it. But no worries this end, it's not urgent.

Hospital have changed the time of my appointment - again :cute: and I'm sort of waiting for another call  Well, why not, they've changed it four times already

~Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s grey and drizzly here.

Joe got back from Cornwall just before 1am, he’s in college today so didn’t have to get up quite as early as on a work day, he doesn’t have to leave until 8.30 on college days. They booked a holiday to Greece over the weekend, it’s not until Amanda’s left university at the end of May so fingers crossed that they’ll get to go this time. They’ve had three holidays cancelled.

Right, there’s post-weekend empty house cleaning to be done :D

Have a good day all :D

Morning all, it’s fairly dreary here but looks as if it might clear up a bit. I’m going to the gym later this morning and this afternoon I might do a couple of sewing repairs. Otherwise, nothing major planned.

Good afternoon all.
We have been to drop our prescriptions off at our less than beloved GP practice, who are still operating a triage telephone system.
We have also been to get some cash out of the atm, done the Sainsbury's shop and this afternoon MrsC is going to our village library to change Eliza's books.
Son and son in law have now tested negative twice for Covid, daughter has tested negative once. Hopefully all should be well soon.
Funny thing, at our Christmas dinner there were son and his gf, daughter and her husband, MrsC, me and MrsC's sister. None of the old 'uns caught Covid, all of the young 'uns bar son's gf did.
They don't make 'em like they used to!
Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon everyone :)

It's been a grey and drizzly day here. Went into town to meet Em and the old WW crew, which was nice 8-) Walked home, via D's. There is a Zumba class tonight, but I think I'll give it a swerve as my sinuses are playing up a bit.

Good luck with the walking plan, Ally :) xx

Enjoy dinner with your friend, Ria :) xx

Jan I do hope your appointment goes ahead as scheduled 8-) xx

Joe, hopefully Greece will be ok by May, as that's when we're due to go :) xx

*Waves to Osc, and Jen* xx

Hope all the family will be well soon, Crommers xx

Tough stuff I reckon, Saundra ;) xx
