Good morning Saturday

We got up VERY late!! Tbf we were awake, but I popped down to make us some porridge and a hot drink to have in bed then we started chatting and it got later and later....eventually we got up (11.30!!) and dressed and had a drive down to the marina at Hartlepool, we had a snack and a cuppa, called into Pets at Home for clumping cat litter and then home. I've since stripped the bed, and put a darks wash on. Chinese takeaway tonight It was very wet this morning, which likely instigated our late start

Tom's out next Saturday for the stag day.....they're off to Wetherby Races. He's not really fussed about going, he doesn't really drink much these days and they're mostly young lads who like a drink.....good job it's only the once!!

Afternoon everyone

It is a bleak day here, non-stop rain and hardly any daylight I went to SW first thing, "only" 3lbs gained over the holiday, not brilliant but not terrible either. B had a dental appointment, some veneers and a bridge for the tooth she lost through botched root canal at the last dentist's Still, it looks very good, and she's very happy with is all

We went to the Quays with Fraggle - Harry is at work-related but as it was so blustery, the awnings outside Correttto's were down, so to avoid getting wet we went to Portico Lounge, where they allow dogs in Off to D's after that

We've been home a while, and have had a late lunch/early dinner of chilli con carne. Mick is out in the garage, taking our old bed to pieces, so he can get it to the tip. I shall be glad to see the back of it, as it's been out there since we got our new bed in September
