Good morning.

Lovely day again. 8-)

Off for my walk shortly.

Home to bacon rolls when Conor gets up....he surprised us by turning up to join us last night and stayed over. :cute:

A relaxing day reading and BBQ Don will do his stuff for dinner.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

BBQ sounds delicious Ally, enjoy. Fab that Conor was able to pop over and surprise you both x

A drizzly start to the day here, will be doing a bit of cleaning and also a trip to one of the larger Tesco stores. I am accumulating countless pet food pouches that need to be recycled somewhere. I used to send them off to a charity as they could raise money from them but that scheme has come to an end. They can't be put into regular recycling and I refuse to have them go into landfill, so I've been collecting them in a large plastic sack. This particular Tesco apparently has tetra pack recycling facilities so I can take the food pouches and crisp packets etc.... Huge M&S next door to it so I probably will have a mooch in there, and also a Lidl just up the road so another mooch to see what they have ;-)

That's about it for my exciting day

have a good one everyone xx

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

Lovely, sunny morning, but rather cold at the moment.

Once it warms up a little, heading outside to tidy up the flower beds. Those weeds are making a come back :cute:   Footie today, two lots, so that will keep himself happy 8-)

Other than that, not a lot. David and Rita will come up for a drink and chat once she's clear, that could be today or tomorrow.

As it's Saturday, it's curry night :Hi: Might try some onion bhaji's later. Already made the samosas and flat breads, see what I fee like.

Havea good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.

It is raining and has been for several hours. Have been to the bank and for some food in the market. The only butcher make shis own lovely
sausage. They are big enough to just have one for a meal with veg. Stall opposite makes lovely meat rollls and balm cakes.
Today I have had a turkey one and bought some pork to make my own tomorrow.

After a coffee I will do some more ironing. Have three shirts and two sheets and a few other small things.

Have a good day everybody

Morning all, it’s fairly dreary here but not raining at the moment. I slept until 8.30  , that never happens. So we got up late and have yet to have our showers. Edward is doing a chilli in the slow cooker, for the freezer. Dinner tonight is the turkey crown we had bought in case Christmas didn’t work out, variations on that will feed us for a few days. The ironing that was to be tackled yesterday….wasn’t  so I’ll have to get on to it today.

Morning everyone.

I like the word 'manky' Saundra, it describes things here perfectly. Sleet forecast for the rest of the morning then rain in the afternoon.

And I'll look 'ironing' up in the dictionary seeing as so many of you seem to have it as a hobby; some sort of metalwork I suspect.

Reading and TV look to be on the cards for most of the day.

Make the most of what you have campers.

Good morning all.
Dull and grey here and it has rained quite a bit.
It was frosty last night but must have clouded up later, because it's all gone now.
We are dog sitting today. Gemma (son's gf) has her birthday today and has gone out for a meal with our son and her parents. So we have Fred the black lab.
He's a friendly dog and quite calm, not at all like Dobby the mad Cockapoo. Fred's only vice is that he is a greedy dog like all Labs seem to be, and he does look at you reproachfully when you are eating. :D
We will take him back about 10pm.
Apart from that, not much. I think it's just a case of getting through the day.
Have a good one everybody.

Don't bother WM, whatever the dictionary says, it's to be avoided at all cost

Did half the washing yesterday, bed change today, the sheets are in the machine. Apart from that, not too much happening here, it's much too wet outside.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Had a lovely roam about the garden. The sun is lovely and warm and as there's no wind, for a change, started glowing

Think we've managed to scare off whatever is eating our veg, as no more have disappeared, but we have mounds in the garden now  As soon as I empty another large water bottle, that will be a garden decoration  I'll have to look for something a little more decorative next time I'm in the Algarve
