Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 03 Jan 2022, 06:48

Good morning.

Forecast gorgeous again. 8-)

Off for my walk. :D

Walking into town later for a few last minute Christmas gifts for a couple of friends.
These will be given on the Eve of Kings when we meet up for lunch.
I've always found it amusing watching the Spanish panic buying for their festivities.

TV tonight and a Chinese takeaway for dinner. :)

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Lovely and sunny again, warm later too 8-)

As soon as Grumpy gets up, I'll get the washing on the go, although will have to move the car first, otherwise will have to drive through it

Then off to Beja early this afternoon, for an x-ray of "partes moles" which means the soft parts  Will stop at Lidl's if there's no queue and get a few bits and bobs that only they do. Also some veg for Chris and Lucy, as they can't go out yet.

Leftover curry for dinner :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning Ally and Jan, good morning all

Enjoy the respective shopping trips you two, hope you get everything you still need. And Jan, good luck withe x-rays

Well a pootle in the garden day here for me. It's meant to be dry all day so going to make the most of it and get some stuff tidied away. Later today heading over to Nadine to help her with something and no doubt will end up staying for a bite to eat ;-)

Yesterday I treated myself to a little Chromebook. Usually in the mornings I sit in the lounge with my coffee, surrounded by the cats and plan the day and browse on my phone before getting dressed and then switching on the laptop and getting on with my work day. But the last few days I haven't wanted to switch on the laptop because to me that's just like switching on work so I haven't been posting on here much etc.... so now the Chromebook is in the lounge and I can 'log on' to the fun things, type on a proper keyboard vs trying to use fat fingers on a phone keypad but not have access to anything work - yay!

Have a lovely day everyone x

Good morning everybody,

Dull but no rain. May change the sheets on the bed and do some washing. Will be having visitors later.
It is a friend who used to work with my wife. She phoned to say she is coming as it would have been Audrey's 88 th birthday
today. Not doing much else.

Have a good day everybody

Morning everyone.

Happy shopping to you all. It is what I will be doing as well. I have a 'shipping load' prescription order to pick up early on as I have run out so I might as well just carry on and visit a few other places. I also need a condolences card and some flowers for Zoe's family

It is clear and bright but it blew a hooley last night and some of the bins have gone walkabout since they were emptied.

Make yours a bright day. xx

Morning all, it’s bright here but every now and again we get a bit of rain in the air. It’s very breezy too.

I’ve just noticed that the daffodils shoots are starting to make an appearance in the garden.

John’s walking Bill after he’s had his breakfast while I get some jobs done and a little later we’re going to have a walk around the designer outlet in town.

Me and Joe have decided to give the match a miss this evening, the tickets haven’t gone to waste though as I’ve sold them (at face value) to someone on the Man Utd forum I use.

Ria, that’s a good idea re the Chromebook. You’ll love it! For everyday messing around ie fun stuff I couldn’t be without my iPad, I find using a full sized laptop is so awkward now.

Thinking of you today Cruiser x

Have a good day all x

Stupid of Encalho forgot to turn the knob on the washing machine, so I'm sat here waiting whilst it does a long, hot wash  instead of a quickie

Sending over a hug for you Cruiser xx

Our daffs are already out in flower Jo :D Not all of them, just some here and there. All the bulbs have come up again, many multiply, so I'll have to give some away again, once they're dying back. I'll move some too.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast here.

Good luck with the x-ray Jan.
(((Cruiser)))

Well it's operation take down the outside decs today. Always sad to do it, but it's due to rain tomorrow so better to get it done while it's dry. We'll leave the wreath on the door till 12th night. Other than that the only excitement is a Tesco delivery due between 1-2pm.

Hope you all have a good day xx
