Moring Ally, morning everyone

Sun and cloud this morning, a lot of cloud, but at least the sun is out, for a change.

One forecast says no rain., another says 5% chance, so I'm taking a chance and the washing machine is on  Not quite as warm as you, but up to 19C today. It was yesterday too, which was bizarre, as it rained most of the day

So that's me sorted, running in and out with the washing  I'll try and get some weeding done too, as I couldn't yesterday.

It's six years since we moved up here, so a lovely meal tonight. We had thought of going out, but then couldn't be bothered

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

hello and good morning you two and everyone

so sorry for not posting the past few days - these days laptop at home = work and I was determined to have at least a few days away from it all. I hope you all had as wonderful and peaceful a Christmas as could be, that the hearts and tummy's were full, the left-overs in just the right quantity and that Santa was generous to you all x I had a lovely few days - Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with Karl and Nadine and the family and then Boxing Day lunch with a friend I've not seen in a while followed by a snooze on the sofa once home; and yesterday a mooch around garden centre and another antique warehouse type place with another friend and yet another snooze on the sofa once home; unheard of having a snooze two days running. Today is generally cleaning, tidying, sorting out a few things and just going with the flow. For the first time in what feels like ages I don't have to be anywhere at any particular time - bliss!

Six years Jan - wow. In a way to me it seems like you've been there forever, but then it also feels like it was just the other day you were posting about the actual move. Wishing you and Grumpy many more happy years in your lovely home.
Ally enjoy the day and the sunshine and warmth ;-)

Dull and overcast here and very much the kind of weather you just want to stay indoors so suits my plans just perfectly.

Have a lovely day all xxx

Good morning all.

Drizzly and mild and very dull - street lights still on.

Just a tiny bit of shopping to do then it is the dreaded housework - bedding change, hoovering, general cleaning - then reading.

The car needs topping up so I might give it a treat to a clean and a valet for its New Year at the same time.

Have a good one.

Morning all.
Grey here and raining steadily.
Never mind it could be worse, I could be Joe Root. 68 all out!
Not really a day to be walking but needs must.
The highlight of the day looks to be going for a paper. Be still, my fluttering heart!
Mustn't rush it, the trip has to be savoured.
Have a good day all.

ps Congratulations to Osc's E on his first ever hole in one!

Good morning everybody,

It is dull with grey clouds but no rain or drizzle.
Have fifnished the ironing. No more this year!! Will be doing some dusting and hoovering after a coffee.
Ria, I can go to sleep watching TV.. I am OK if I am doing something or chatting. But as soon as I sit down my eyes seem to close and
I am in a deep sleep probably for only ten minutes.
Santa didn't stop here. There is nothing I wanted or needed. Health and happiness are all I need.

Have a good day everybody

We had that 5% rain

But the sun is out - and boy, is it warm 8-) - so the washing is on the line and another one on the go. I've even got some windows open

Fingers crossed

I'm off for a wander around the garden with a bucket and dig up some weeds 8-)

An emergency ambulance has just been and dropped one of our neighbours off. David has been diagnosed with dementia and I think he's getting a bit worse. He's always going out walking to the shops (at least half a mile away up a steep hill) and he's had to be brought back by some of us before now when he's fallen or got lost.
Poor bloke.
