Door to door test delivery?

The doorbell went one afternoon last week and there was a woman standing there with a large shopping bag, she was from the council and going door to door handing out boxes of lateral flow tests.

Anyone else getting this in their area?

No, but both Ria and myself copped for a couple of boxes in BNS station last month They were just happening them out

Sounds like someone wants the infection rate kept high.
Why on earth would the council be going door to door handing them out when there are testing stations everywhere?

I thought at first it was our useless postman delivering some John had ordered (he has to test twice weekly for work) to the wrong address AGAIN!

We're getting loads of that round here too Jo.
Some of our post has been delivered to next door, we've had post for people down the road and the village fb site is full of rage about how useless Hermes are!
