Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 13 Dec 2021, 07:09

Good morning.

Warm and sunny. 8-)

Off for a walk shortly.

Back to shower etc then walking into town for a few bits. It's a friends birthday tomorrow so that'll be a bottle of gin, some tonics and a gift bag on the list.

Plan to spend the rest of the day relaxing and reading. :D

Jen....Jacob's spending 3 days in Lithuania then off to Latvia till the 20th.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

A lovely sunny morning and quite pleasant out there 8-) we're in for a warm week :Hi:

General pootling today. I will make a favas dish later, the washing is already out, more on the go and I'd like to cut back some of the ice plants on the bank. They get a bit out of hand  and will take over everything, if you let them.

David and Rite (our nice neighbours) arrived yesterday and once they've recovered from the flight, I'm sure they'll be in touch.

Is Jacob just travelling Ally, or working? being nosy, sorry.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all

Hope you get the bits you need for the birthday gift Ally
Jan, enjoy your day

about to get myself ready and leave for the office. What with the new regulations coming in I am going to go in and 'shut down' for the Christmas / New Year period so that means dealing with any perishables in the kitchen, making sure whatever electrical can be switched off is switched off and generally just making sure all is OK. There will be two colleagues who can't work from home but they'll be using separate offices so still very quiet.

Have a good one everyone x

Morning all.
Grey but mild here.
Tried to go for a walk around the nature reserve but there were massive puddles everywhere and it was very muddy so I've given it a miss.
Wishing Jacob a good trip.
Sister in law has gone for her booster, accompanied by MrsC.
This afternoon we are going to look at dining table chairs.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s dull and dreary here. I’ve already been out, I had something to collect locally so I dropped Edward to the golf club and went on to collect it. Back home now and heading to the gym shortly. This afternoon I need to go to the post office to post cards, get gift vouchers and take out money. H/worky stuff in between all of that.

Morning all :)

Dull and overcast

Like Jan, wondering if it's for work or leisure Ally, either way hope he has a good time.
Hope you don't find too much mess at work Ria.
Good luck to SIL getting the booster Crommers.

Bit late getting started this morning, only just had brekkie  Expecting a Tesco delivery between 1-2pm, can't believe the next one will be just before Christmas

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s dull here but at least the earlier rain has stopped.

Joe was home from college by 10, their tutor finished for Christmas last week so they just had to check in and then they were free to leave and do their coursework at home…so he went for a run as soon as he got back  He’s got stuck into his work now though.

I’ve been to get my hair cut, it’s only been seven weeks since it was last cut but it’d grown so much (must be all of the rain that’s poured on it  ). I walked there and back, I feel a bit iffy about public transport again and it’d mean taking four buses or walking five miles so the walk won.

I’ve also had an Amazon delivery come, it was nice and early today. I’d ordered one of those light up birch twig trees which came on Saturday, it was only cheap (£6.99 whereas most were around £20) so I didn’t expect much but I just wanted something bright for on the landing windowsill and it’s actually really lovely with a few baubles on so I ordered another for on the office windowsill.

Have a good day all :D

Hope the pootling went ok Jan :) xx

Hope all went well at the office Ria xxx

No fun wading through mud, eh Crommers! xx

Hope you got all your bits and pieces done Osc :) xx

Hi Saundra :) xx

Dull and overcast here too Jen :x xx

Jo, my hairdresser remarked on how quickly my hair had grown this time - must be something in the water  xx

It's a murky old day here today! Met Emma and a couple of the WW ladies in town, then Em and I had a mooch round the shops. Not long been home. No Zumba tonight. Noticing a scratchy throat since I got home, hoping I haven't picked up D's lurgy

Take care all xxx
