Christmas Day plans

Postby JanB » 12 Dec 2021, 16:44

What are you all doing?

We'd planned a quiet bbq, couldn't decide between steak, burgers and bangers, pork loin or lamb cutlets.

So I've bought everything, so we could decide later

And then Jan rang.

Her husband is working again and she doesn't want to spend lunch with her mum in law, on her own again, so we were told that we're going to hers   Mitchell is coming too, so should be good.

Means I don't have to cook or wash up, as she'll cook and the boys will do the washing up :Hi:

I have told her I'll take something, if she needs me to, and then we have Chriss' birthday the day after, so that will be a joint effort :D

Everyone round at ours.
Our children, partners, grandchild, sister in law and assorted dogs.
Should be a busy day!

No idea, I’ve not made any plans.

I’d happily have fish finger butties for lunch, Saundra!

There’s always a box or two for sandwiches in our freezer too
A few years ago we went for lunch in Porthcawl with John’s mom and she couldn’t believe I ordered a fish finger sandwich, she didn’t know they were a thing
