Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up,

Ally I have been to Mijas several times. It is a lovely little village. Used to get the bus to Torrelimos as ther bus going to Mijas was always full when
it got to Belamadena where we were staying.
Going out for afternoon tea this afternoon. It is with other pensioners from the firm I used to work for.

Cloudy but no rain yet.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

~Sunny and clouds this morning, so far. And we had rain earlier  Not forecast, but always welcome.

Off to Ourique after breakfast, for the normal runaround to get everything. Hopefully, we'll get some stuff to put over the more vulnerable plants, to save them being either killed off or badly affected by frost.

And the joy that is Pingo. Interesting to see just how quickly the Aldi is going up :Hi:

I had hoped to get some weeding done this afternoon, will have to see how wet the ground is.

Have a great time mooching Ally and have a lovely time with ex workmates Cruiser, enjoy that tea.

Safe travel to Osc x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you three, morning everyone

Cruiser, have a lovely afternoon with your ex-work colleagues; will be lovely to catch up with everyone. When last did you see them?
Ally enjoy the day in Mijas
Jan, hope you find stuff for the plants and get all the other bits and bobs done

very nippy again this morning. I'm about to head out and pick up what hopefully will be the bargain of the year. Someone locally is offering a nearly new garden shredder for free. Apparently been in his garage / shed for ages and from memory he seems to recall it tripped the fuse when he last used it so it was put away and never used again. So I'm off to collect it and will then ask Karl to have a look at the plug / cable. I have the same shredder and it's a fab little machine, but it's been used so much it'll be amazing to have a back up in store.

then off to Nadine quickly to have some bloods taken - saves me having to make an appointment at my surgery

besides that the usual mix of work and pootling :D

Have a lovely day evreyone, stay warm and safe travels Osc x

Good morning all.
A chilly start here.
Enjoy Mijas Ally - try and enjoy Pingo Jan!
I bet you have a lovely time with your ex-colleagues Cruiser.
Happy shredding Ria!
In a mo we are off to B and M and Aldi as well! How I'll bear the excitement I don't know. Perhaps they will have a defibrillator down there.
Then a short walk this afternoon.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it is a grey drizzly morning here. We are pretty well organised and will leave for the airport about 12.30 - for short trips we book into the short term car park, as the cost is about equivalent to a taxi each way. Looking forward to our few days away. There might be a few photos on FB ;)

Have a nice afternoon tea, Cruiser, I love afternoon tea.

Morning all :D

Grey but dry here

Have a nice day in Mijas Ally.
Enjoy afternoon tea Cruiser, a lovely treat.
Hope you both have successful shopping trips Jan and Crommers.
Good luck with the garden shredder Ria.
Have a lovely holibob Osc.

Got a shock when I looked out of our bedroom window a couple of nights ago, two of the houses further down in the close have their Christmas decorations up  How very dare they, needless to say we'll be getting ours out asap. When I say we, I really mean E, but I will be out there handing him the hooks and generally getting in the way  A memory came up on Fb from last year and we put our tree up today, honestly we're slacking, will need to get that done in the next few days too.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Dear me Jen, ours go up the week before, if that

Got everything and more. Plants will be wrapped up soon. Bought about 10 metres of it, so that should be enough and Marco said he always has some in stock, if needed. Also bought some extra strong weedkiller, so that will be done at the week-end.

Pingo was it's usual horrible self. But one wall is already up at the Aldi ground :Hi:

The ground is too wet, must have been more rain than we thought, so just reading this afternoon. Stopped at Steve and Jackie's on the way back with some stuff for him and got three bags of books :Hi: :Hi:

Pork loin roast for dinner :D

Fire will be lit soon, it's quite chilly here today.

Hope Osc got away okay x

Ours used to go up mid Dec Jan, but what with Covid and our ops it's nice to have a bit of sparkle :D

Afternoon all :)

Busy busy here again! Met my friend J for a quick cuppa, then picked up some Christmas wrapping and cards, as we’re taking some family stuff down to Dorset for the Weymouth crew :) Had a bite with D, and since getting home have done the ironing, including the boys’ white shirts and other bits and pieces for the weekend.

I was going to do my nails tonight, but as I’m planning on doing the cleaning tomorrow it might make more sense to do them tomorrow night. Becky and Doreen are having theirs done professionally tomorrow night, round at D’s, by a lady who’s done B’s before, but as she only has time to do two lots and I have my own gel kit including the lamp it makes sense for me to do my own. I have a lovely plain silver colour that will match my silver bag.

Have updated about Fraggle on the pet board.

Love to all xxx
