Morning Ally, morning everyone - happy Friday!

Ooh, exciting Ally - have you already got your first new bike ride planned? Enjoy the tapas tonight x

Work for a few hours this morning then taking Thomas for his driving lesson - it does mean a good few hours out of the house as the lesson is nigh on an hours drive away and the lesson itself is two hours; but fingers crossed this will be his last one - he's got his test booked for next Wednesday. Trusty laptop will be with me and the car will become my mobile office :D

Have a lovely day x

Good morning Ally, Ria, and all :)

Ooh you got the new bikes then Ally? :D :Hi: xx

Good luck to Thomas, Ria, I hope the test goes well next week :) xx

Morning Jan :) xx

It's sunshine and showers here today, I think. Off to town later for some bits and pieces, will pop in and see D on my way home. Harry went to a friendship group last night, attached to a local church, and seemed to enjoy it. So far he's setting in well, he has an interview at with the Job Centre next week, hopefully they can help him find something 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning everybody,
It is dull and has been raining.

More housework and some washing. Have to get the house straight as I am out Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week.
Retirement. I seem to be busier than when I was working. Must plan a day to write cards soon.

Have a good day everybody

Good morning all.
Dull and rainy here but not cold.
Eliza has just gone to nursery. How can such a small person cause so much mess? Last night the sitting room looked like a cannon loaded with cuddly toys, paper, crayons, dominos, chess pieces and play doh had been fired into it.
Dobby the dog has just chased the squirrel off; it was after the bird seed again.
In a while we're off to get the car back. Later we will do the weekend shop.
New bikes Ally! Good luck to Thomas and Harry.
The local surgery have sent me a text to book my booster jab but the link doesn't work. I'll try and progress that today.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s a pleasant enough morning out there and Edward will be heading to play golf soon. I’m going to the gym later in the morning. We had a five hour power cut yesterday evening, just as the Ireland -v- Portugal game was about to start. I was chatting away to my sister on the phone when everything just went off, and I mean everything, over a wide area. The house phone, mobile phones, street lights, the lot. Luckily we have plenty of candles and we dug out an old battery radio so Edward could listen to the match. I couldn’t get even 4G reception in the house although I could get it outside the front door. Thankfully we have a gas hob so could at least make a cup of tea and I did a little knitting by candlelight - however did they manage sewing and knitting in pre electricity days! It came back at 12.30, so we got up and checked everything was ok. Miss Osc’s came back on just before 10pm, I was outside the front door in the drizzle WhatsApping back and forth with her just before we went to bed.

Good morning to you all.

Dull and miserable here so a bedding change day with a few loads of washing as well.

Good luck to Thomas and Harry and the mobile office worker, Ria.

Cromwell, the links from my surgery never work either. I have tried a copy and paste into the laptop only to get a 404 error. The surgery tells me the links are not from them but from NHS England. I no longer bother and just phone up.

Osc, we don't know we are born till things fail, do we? Water for me, leccy for you, someone else will be gasless, and don't forget petrol!

Ah well, have a good one all.

Our doctors’ surgery has a terrific online booking system for jabs, it works extremely efficiently. We have our boosters booked for 4th December.

Cruiser, we often say we don’t know how we found time to work!
