Morning everyone. Either your all up earlier these days, or daylight savings changeovers have brought our time differences together. I really can't remember these days. The kids have amen all my thinking ability and left me with this think grey soup instead.. Anyhow,,

My two were shattered a 8am. We had family around for dinner last night and since hubby's Aunty was over from Oz, no one was in any hurry to chase the darlings off to bed. Oliver put himself to bed about 8pm. This morning, understandably they were really tired. I decided on "rest time" this afternoon where we all took books to bed. Sasha was asleep in less than 5 mins, (it's been a year since her last afternoon nap) and Oliver in about 15mins. He last napped about 6 months go. And tonight, instead of acting up and not going to sleep, they were both asleep before their heads hit the pillow. Hope they sleep right through as its quite windy and rainy here tonight, something they have not really heard in this house.

Got Prozac for the cat. Hope that works. She's had her first dose tonight.

Have a good day all. Long hot bath for me, then bed.

Morning everyone

Gorgeous here and I'm actually wearing a skirt

Grumpy is going to take it easy ish today and I'm going down to the village to pay our council tax and collect a couple more coffee mugs, as I broke some at the week-end. Shame I can't get new "do not be so clumsy" glasses

Enjoy your day xx

Suddenly it feels like Spring Weka - after a loooong six months of winter weather I think we're all perking up a little   Glad the kids caught up on their sleep - my Becky loved her afternoon naps, she slept the most of my three - in fact thinking about it she still does

Hope the cat meds work and solve the peeing problem xxxxx

Still no computers at work. It'll be a week tomorrow.

The Customer Care Teams have got them up and running but no one else in the company. The hard drive blew up apparently. My boss was telling me today that the IT department had put in a request for some back up system months ago but as it was going to cost about £150,000 the board decided against it. Fortunately everything is backed up constantly so we shouldn't have actually lost anything but it has been an inconvenience to all the staff and especially our customers. We were expecting an update at lunchtime but I left just before 12pm to come home and plant my window boxes up.

Left a message for S's head of year and am hoping that she gets chance to ring me back this afternoon.

That's a coincidence Debih!

Don's just come back from the post office where he was told the whole of the postal computer system is down in all of Spain!!

On asking Captain Slow behind the counter if it would be sorted by tomorrow as he has a package to send off he was greeted with a shrug of the shoulders.

Good afternoon all! The sun is shining and I've just been to hang washing on the line - it was lovely to feel the heat of the sun!! :D

I've been to the gym and then walked over to WH Smiths to get a book for my Mom. Well, it's not for her but for my Dad, it's his birthday at the end of the month and she can't go anywhere without him tagging along and she wanted to get him this as a surprise. It looks very interesting actually, it's a local history book about "Murders and Mayhem" in the local area.
