Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another wet day :Hi: :Hi: and another mild one :?

It's a holiday here too, but I must crack on with the cleaning that I ignored yesterday  After a huge breakfast, we just sat and read and before we knew it, it was mid afternoon

Once that's out of the way, I'«ll prep for dinner and if it stops raining,we'll head down to the bar.

Other than that, not a lot going on. Plans for the garden, for when it's dry. Lots of holes to be dug ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning you warm people.
Raining here, windy and cold. Just been to fill the car up.
MrsC is going to see her Aunty Violet soon.
I was hoping we could go for a walk on the common as it is supposed to clear up a bit this afternoon. Fingers crossed.
Apart from that maybe reading.
The poor trick or treaters last night! It absolutely threw it down, they must have been soaked.
Have a good day all.

hello and good morning you two and everyone :D

Ally enjoy the day of relaxing
Jan hope you get your bits done and the weather clears so you can get to the bar; although the rain is always needed for you....
Crommers, we had lots of rain yesterday morning; but now it's cleared up and apparently no rain expected for a few days again. We've got a really lovely sunny autumnal day here today.

Usual work day and going to try sort out the front bit of the garden and plant some bulbs; it's a bit later but they'll be fine ;-) need to strim the grass there as well, or rather try pull as much of it out as I can. I'm trying to make it a wildflower / wildlife meadow so the grass needs to go in quite a few places otherwise it'll just take over too much.

I am hoping for an amazon delivery today; I ordered three things on Saturday - all due for delivery yesterday but only one item arrived. Hoping the other two show up today but the online tracking is showing as delayed and not giving a new date. If it's not here by end today I'll need to contact Amazon. Also need to go to screwfix once I have the notification that stuff I ordered from them has arrived and is ready for collection - should be at some point today.

That's my exciting day :D

have a good one xx

Morning all :D

Dry, but dull

I need to have a covid test before going into hospital, my appointment is today at 12.30. It's a drive through at the hospital so shouldn't take too long. Not sure what to expect really, it will the first I've had. We're expecting Tesco this afternoon and Boots are due to deliver my meds. Other than that not a lot happening here.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Good morning everybody,

It has been raining and blowing during the night and it is still raining.
While I was waiting for the bus to go shopping, a yong man came out of one of the houses wearing flip flops!! One way of washing your feet.
Computer and phone went of at 1.00 a.m. I reported the fault when I got up. Was told engineers were working on it.
But said it may be 4.00 p.m before it was fixed. But everything seems to be working correctly now.

Now just pootling
Have a good day everybody

Morning all, it’s quite bright this morning after overnight rain, but there is a noticeable drop in temperature - I’ve just been out in the car and it was showing 9 degrees  I had a restless night, went to sleep around 11pm, woke up and said to myself “that was a nice sleep”, looked at the clock, it was just after midnight so I had been asleep for less than an hour  Didn’t sleep so well after that. This morning, I’ve dropped Edward over to the golf club and gone to collect the summer duvet from the cleaners, plus some bedding I had left in to be laundered. I’ll be going to the gym shortly and when I get back, I’ll just see where the day takes me.

I'm still in flip flops

~That sounds like me Osc. Have a snooze this afternoon.

Hope everything arrives Ria x

I forgot about the beetroot I bought on Saturday  Once the floor is dry, I'm going to boil them up. All different sorts and sizes. Heritage something or other.

No more rain and it's quite mild.

Afternoon everyone :)

Envying you two your warm temps, Ally and Jan ;) 8-) xx

Crommers I thought that too, but we still had a fair few knocking  xx

I hope you sleep better tonight Osc xxx

My bulbs did really poorly this year Ria, so I’m going to buy the ready sprouting ones in the spring  xx

Hope all went well Jen, those tests aren’t terribly comfortable but it’s very quick xx

I’ve had lunch in town with the old WW crew, we seem to be getting back into the old rhythm of meeting once a month, which is nice :) We’re going to have a Christmas lunch in December, in Lily’s down by the Cathedral, like we used to :) Zumba tonight with Em :)

Mick and I are on our own until Friday as B has gone to her dad’s - she’ll be back on Friday and Harry will be with her :D

Love to all xxx
