Morning Ally :D

Just said to Mick about your last swim, he said you could go swimming here if you want to, as it's tipping down! ;)  Enjoy your party later :D xxx

Up early as B needs a lift to work. The Sunday service here has always been bad compared to the weekday one, but lately it's impossible as Stagecoach has lost quite a few drivers, and even the weekday service has become unreliable  We were planning to go to the garden centre today, but not sure I fancy it in teeming rain, and as Fraggle is going to work with Becky we could sit indoors at Correttto's, nice and dry in the comfy seats. Hmmm...... ;) I have chilli in the freezer, I quite fancy that for dinner later.

We had a lovely meal out last night, with Em and Dave. The Royal George is a lovely pub, in Birdlip which is a village just outside Gloucester, at the top of Crickley Hill. Our table was for 7, but we were still gassing and laughing at gone 11 :) Great food and good company 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Warm, but rather wet again this morning.

Had a lovely, long lie-in, coffee in bed and we're going to have a cooked breakfast later.

We need to let some water out of the pool  yes,we had that much rain yesterday. Will put the pump on for an hour or so. Not a hope of either of us getting in

Cleaning for me this morning, not sure what Grumpy is going to do.

Roast pork for dinner :D

Must now go and try to sort out the time on here and my phone. Everything else is done ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever yore doing xx

Good morning all.
Gusty wind and heavy rain here today. Nothing nice about the weather here Ally. The leaves are coming off the trees now at a rate of knots. Such beautiful colours.
We have got some sweeties in for the trick or treaters. Growing up I'd never heard of trick or treat.
Yesterday we went out for a walk on Heath Common with our daughter, son in law and Eliza, plus Dobby the Cockapoo. How that dog loves to chase a ball!
We had a drink in the King's Arms pub afterwards. A lovely family get together.
They are coming for their dinner today too.
Kaz, you can't beat good food and good company.
Jan, I reckon you could have filled your pool with the rain we've had!
Thanks for the reminder Cruiser, we forgot to do ours.
Our son and his gf have gone to the Lake District for the weekend. Given the amount of rain they've had there it wasn't the luckiest timing.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, it’s a bright early winter day here. No plan for the day, but it will include ironing :? Currently we are watching the 5000th Saturday night performance at the Grand Ole Opry which happened in Nashville last night. Lots of great country music, and we have seen quite a few of the performers on our Nashville visits. I don’t suppose we will get callers tonight, we never have since we moved in here and in fact rarely got them in our old house.

Saundra, when i was a lad I used to own a Lambretta.
It wasn't the most reliable machine in the world but I did love it. :)

Afternoon all :D

Wet and very windy, the garden is covered with palm leaves

We had a nice lie in this morning, not long had brekkie. Ocado have just delivered an M&S order. Haven't ordered from them since the end of lockdown, but our local store has temporarily stopped stocking some lines to make way for Christmas. Roast chicken and veggies for dinner later, choccy blancmange with orange jelly for pud.

Hope you all have a good day xx
