Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 21 Oct 2021, 06:33

Good morning.

Back up to 30 degrees today.

Just a swim for exercise...the trainers can have a rest.

Jacob's coming over today for the weekend. I haven't seen him since the day after dad's funeral. He's been living in Granada since August and will be there till the end of December but it's his and Conor's birthday on Saturday hence the weekend here. I can't wait to see him. :cute:

The four of us are going out early evening for beers and eats. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Cloudy and quite cool here, we're back to mid 20's, so feeling a lot cooler

Enjoy your time with Jacob Ally x

Will do the watering once we've had a coffee, then a bit of a pootle, as Grumpy wants to get some clearing out done in the ruin.

Breakfast this morning will be fried (leftover) roast potatoes along with what remains of the chicken breast wrapped in presunto and some very healthy bread  He might have a glass of wine with his

Jan coming up this morning, she forgot about yesterday  and we're probably going down the bar later, as it's cooler.

New recipe for dinner, so could be a disaster, could be okay 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s bright and sunny here but a bit chilly. We are going to a dance practice this morning, and as we don’t have Michael and Kellie today, after dancing we will head to a nearby shopping centre to have a potter around.

Morning all

Ally enjoy the time with your boys - always so special x
Jan, can't wait to see the ruin when it's done - I know some time yet, but still ;-)

Osc and Cruiser, nippy here as well. Goodness did it absolutely pour down last night; wowzer. Woke about 3am and it had stopped thank goodness but the wind keeps blowing menacing clouds this way, but then as quickly moves them on to somewhere else; so one moment blue skies and next dark grey clouds.

About to get some mushroom soup on the go - when I was in Sainsbury's the other day they had loads of veg with huge reductions so I nabbed two punnets of mushrooms. I usually buy them loose but given the price of these I couldn't resist

Not much else going on besides the usual work / pootle mix

have a lovely day all

Morning all :D

Torrential rain and gale force winds overnight. Still windy but dry, for now anyway.

Ally have a lovely time with Jacob.
Your breakfasts are always interesting Jan ;)
Good luck at the dentist Cruiser.
Enjoy the dancing Osc.
Mushroom soup Ria, yummy.
Have fun with the tulip bulbs Saundra.

We're planning to pop into town on the bus, providing it stays dry that is. I won't be able to drive for 6/8 weeks after my op so trying to get as much done, card buying and various other bits, before I go into hospital in two weeks time.

Wishing you all a good day xx

Heavy rain last evening ,not much overnight but the wind is still with us.

Yesterday on the BUS along Stokes Bay (Solent) with a combination of high tide and strong wind the spray from the breaking waves was going right over the bus
