Afternoon all :D

Nice and sunny here 8-)

The dentist has given me antibiotics, 3 a day for the next 5 days. It's not too bad right now, but my jaw and cheek are a bit tender and the actual tooth is sensitive to touch. Fingers crossed the antibees calm things down long enough to get my op done. In any case even if I did want it out immediately there's a wait, apparently they have a surgeon who visits from the hospital, but the list is growing. Goodness knows how people manage with the pain in the mean time.

Interesting news, I've had an e-mail from a member of the the management team at AEG in response to the letter I posted. He apologised and says he has logged my 'feedback' to their service team to ensure they improve their consumer experience for the future. He has also raised a full refund of £165 for the fixed price repair that didn't happen. It can take up to 10 days to appear in my account, we'll see.........

Hope you all have a good day xx

oh ouch Jen, fingers crossed the antibiotics do the trick!

But excellent that AEG is refunding you the money - it's a pity it had to get to that point because the brand really should have provided top notch service, but then nothing beats a Bosch dishwasher ;-)

Afternoon all, another lovely day here, we’ve been so lucky with the weather. It’s actually quite amusing, us walking around in shorts while the Italians are wearing jackets and scarves  We decided on an easy day for our last day here, so did some walking around discovering more nice places, buying a few bits for Michael and Kellie, eating ice cream and people watching. The packing is mostly done, amazing how you don’t mind chucking the stuff in the cases any old way when you’re going home! I would be very surprised if we don’t come back here again, it’s just our sort of place. Pick up at 11am tomorrow, all being well we should land in Dublin at 4pm.

Glad you've had a lovely time Osc.

Well I'm fuming, no Sainsbury's delivery so I rang to find out what was happening and apparently the driver told them he tried, but we were out. Absolutely not true, we haven't been anywhere. In fairness, if as has happened a couple of times over the past few years, I've been caught short in the loo for example, they always ring my mobile. Not so today, we haven't been out at all. The earliest they can deliver is tomorrow between 3-4pm.
