Glad your bp was okay Osc :Hi:

Mitch is up and down Ria. He drinks far too much and eats far too little, which never helps. He's got help on his land now, as he can't do as much as he used to. One day he's talking about how he's had enough and is ready to go, the next day, he's talking about getting a pony and trap, rather then driving. He's still on about buying a ruin near Ourique, that we both have our eye on ;)

Sadly, his favourite daughter has lung cancer and is really ill. He's not fit enough to get over, but they talk every week.

He was asking about you the other day, said you were one of the good one's

We picked all the acorns, bagged and ready for delivery for tomorrow, Grumpy did most of the weed pulling  I supervised   I really want the drive sorted, but that can wait. When we had that torrential rain the other day, we now have huge divots in the gravel. He'll need to get the rake on it. The bottom shared drive needs a shovel to sort it out

Normally, I'd be doing it, but being sensible. For a change

Jen, I agree with Osc…get posting on AEG’s social media. Twitter especially seems to be the place where things get done.

Afternoon all.

It’s dull here after a bit of warm sunshine, it’s still warm though. Bill had his long early walk, then it was back to get some washing on which is now drying on the line, the Tesco delivery came as did the one from Amazon, another walk for Bill and then back home to buy Frank Turner tickets for his Birmingham concert in February as they went on sale at noon. I’m in two minds about whether it’s the safe thing to do but it’s some time away yet and if we don’t feel it’s the right thing to do when February comes then the tickets should be easy to sell on, it’s a small venue which is sure to sell out.

Tonight we’re going to have one last barbecue (although we’ve barely used any of the large canister of propane so with the current situation it might come in useful over the Winter ).

Glad you’re doing well Crommers!

Have a good day all :D

Another one here, agreeing about giving AEG a serve on social media, Jen xx

That DN situation is ridiculous Saundra :( When D did it they worked out of the local GP surgeries, and liased with them closely - it was a bad move to change it :( ((((x))))

*Waves to everyone*

Another fine early autumn day here. I got my ironing done early, then went into town to B&M, for a few bits that I couldn't get in Sainsbury's yesterday. Popped in to see D on the way home. Putting my feet up for a while now 8-)

Love to all :) xxx

Gorgeous day here, if a trifle breezy!! Been to town in just a vest top (and a skirt!!)

We had a return visit to the vet this morning with his Lordship....the mass has not grown in two weeks and he isn't vomiting now since he's on a fresh chicken diet, so we're not taking any further action. Vet isn't convinced he's 'only' 7, given he's a rescue cat, and the next stage would be operating, which could be life threatening....it's just not worth the risk thus far. I'm aware that his life expectancy could be reduced, but I'm better off this way, I think. We're not putting him through unnecessary surgery.

So, Tom wanted to watch the golf this pm so after we got home from the vet, I got changed and dashed out again to walk round the city and sit outdoors for possibly the last time this summer for a latte and a gorgeous slice of chocolate brownie! I took a couple of pics of the city centre looking awesome in the sunshine 8-) 8-)

Tried to fill my car up at Tescos on the way home....huge queues.....didn't bother....
