Morning Saundra, morning everyone

Was sunny earlier, but now the clouds have come back. Supposed to be a nice day though.

Cleaning this morning, then we're going to get out on the garden. Acorns need to be picked up for a friends pigs  , things like thistles need to be dug up and we also need to dig a coupe of holes for trees  Mitch has grown a couple of nice looking trees from seed pods and after a few failures  , he's managed it. So we need to decide where to put them.

Can you chase up the district nurse Saundra?

Hope Crommers is doing okay x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Saundra and Jan, morning everyone

Saundra, that's shocking service - can your GP surgery not help and also put pressure on them? If need be can you make an appointment with the GP and then ask for patient transport to get there?
Jan, don't overdo it - that sounds like lots of bending over? Be careful x How is Mitch doing?

Earlier this morning I cut back a few bits of the bamboo that is hanging in front of the bird feeder, so now I can see if from where I sit when I'm at the computer; just looked up and there was a gold finch, a nuthatch as well as a little blue tit and a coal tit, then two sparrows came along as well - all helping themselves to the sunflower hearts / seeds. Oh and a starling getting at the fat balls. Such fun to watch ;) never fails to put a smile on one's face

have a lovely day everyone xx

Good morning all. A bit grey here atm.
MrsC has gone to Sainsbury's and we are due a little trip out later.
Saundra, fingers crossed for the district nurse showing up. You are in Bridlington and the service is based in York? That's crazy.
Let's hope the pigs appreciate the acorns Jan! I'm OK by the way, hope you are too.
Ria we have a family of goldfinches that visit for the nijer seeds we put out.
My friend Pete went up to the far north of Scotland a couple of weeks since. A little cottage 12 miles from the nearest tarmac road, a very remote place. He saw Ospreys and Golden Eagles!
Also 200 yards from his cottage was a "request" train station, the kind where you have to wave the train down for it to stop! They took it one day for a trip to Thurso. No one knows why the station was ever built, apparently, as it is absolutely in the middle of nowhere.
Have a nice day everyone.

Morning all, lovely morning. Red letter day today - we are back dancing tonight!! I’ve just been running through some of our dances as I’ve forgotten quite a bit, I think many of us will be stumbling around the floor  Before that, I have a dental check up at 11am, hopefully nothing needs doing. My BP results were ok and the doc says I don’t need to get it done for another 12 months. That was a great relief as all the things they recommend to bring down high blood pressure don’t apply to me so it would have been medication which I really didn’t want. Right, better tidy up before I go out, Edward has already headed off to the golf club.

Crommers the DN have a unite in Bridlington hospital, 5minutes from Me by car
But every thing is routed through York hospital now
A lot of services are now basses at York
Not Scarborough we've no maternity heart of stroke here and just a basic a,e
It's truly disgraceful practices
my neighbour just had a operation in York so what good is our hospital and it's such a lovely hospital went there after sepsis to learn to walk

Good morning everybody,

Have been to the Post Office to send a parcel. Am now going o have a light lunch before going to meet my grand-dughter. She is comng from London
by train. We are going out for a meal this evening.
So may not post until Monday
Regarding hospials, the trend seems to be centralise treatment at large hospitals. This means long distance travel with limited parking facilities.
Preston hospital is considering building a multistorey car park as there is not enough parking spaces.

Hugs and vibes for those who need them

Morning all :D

Another lovely sunny day 8-)

Hope the DN turns up today Saundra xx
Be careful not to overdo it Jan.
Glad your BP results are good Osc.

No further forward with the dishwasher. Callum turned up as promised, but is completely flummoxed. He even tried phoning AEG to get put through to their tech team, no joy. Doesn't help us so I'll be writing a strongly worded complaint to send to AEG, I'll be asking for a full refund of the fixed price repair. After all this time and being messed about it's the least they should do. We'll see, but it does look like we'll be looking for a new dishwasher.

My hair appointment which was booked for Wednesday this week was moved to this afternoon. Jo's back from her travels so I'm just hoping things aren't too chaotic. Must admit things were a lot calmer with her daughter Coral. Means my usual Friday wash will now be split between today and tomorrow. Also changed the Sainsbury's delivery to 4.30-5.30pm.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Jen, at this stage, you need to get on social media, FB and Twitter. These companies hate being shown up like that.
