Good Morning Friday

Postby JanB » 10 Sep 2021, 07:26

Morning everyone

Cloudy start again, but the forecast is for sun and warmth later 8-)

Cleaning this morning, won't take long and then the day is ours to do not a lot  If it isn't too windy this afternoon, we can get in the pool. As long as the water isn't too cold

Our nice neighbours are back :Hi: No idea how long they'll be here, will find out when we see them.

Hope Crommers is improving xx

Safe journey back home Kaz xx

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Jan, morning everyone - happy Friday!

Glad your neighbours arrived back safely; remind me Jan - was the house in Portugal meant to be a permanent move for them or were they looking to split their time between Portugal and the UK?

cloudy and dull here this morning - and definitely a lot colder. The humidity that's been hanging around the past few days seems to have gone. A sort of usual / usual for me - work this morning and then laptop and I are picking up Thomas from college. It's a noon pick up and he has a dental appointment just around the corner from the college at 1.30; no point driving home so I'm treating him to lunch close to college and then make out way to the dentist.

Back home for me and then this evening we (Nadine, Amelia, a friend and her daughter and I) are off to Woking Theatre to see Grease; can't wait. I've already warned the girls (can't call them kids anymore) that I'll be the embarrassing aunt singing at the top of her voice :D :D :D

Hope Crommers is doing OK

Have a good day everyone x

Good morning Jan and Ria.
Yes, feeling quite sprightly this morning thanks. I overdid the exercises yesterday and ended up as stiff as a board. I'll dial it down a bit today. It's the little things, like having to sleep on your back, which I've never done.
Grey here but very humid and warm. We may get some rain I think.
I'm glad your nice neighbours are back Jan. Ria - embarassing Aunt!  I bet you all have a great time.
Have a good day all.

Holiday home Ria. She's Portuguese, he's Canadian. They have a huge farm in Canada, a kitchen business there too. And a small hotel in the Algarve, which her sister runs for them. They just wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful. Sadly, they have a donkey right by their bedroom, so that won't make them too happy

Have a lovely time watching Grease, nothing wrong in being the batty one, singing away :Hi:

Take it steady Crommers xx

The sun is now out and we have no wind :Hi: :Hi:

I've done my cleaning, Grumpy is waiting for the cat to wake up and go out, so he can vacuum

Morning all, it’s a dull day here, and the sea is flat calm. I’m heading for the the gym shortly and might go for coffee afterwards. Otherwise absolutely no plan for the day. Edward has gone to play golf.

Glad you doing well, Crommers.

Morning all :D

More cloudy today, but still nice and bright and a tad muggy.

Glad you're doing well Crommers, sleeping on your back is the thing E found most difficult.
Enjoy Grease Ria, you go for it, sing as loudly as you like

Washing day here, honestly I do wonder how two people can produce so much. Expecting a Sainsbury's delivery in the next hour or so and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Hi everyone :)

Well it's back to earth with a bump, after the most amazing week on Salcombe - we're currently stuck in traffic about 20 miles south of Avonmouth, on the M5! The day started stressfully when Mick rang from the long stay car park, to say the car battery was flat! B and I were back at the apartment with all the luggage, waiting for him  Luckily the car park was on the top of a hill, about a mile away, and someone helped him push the car until it started! Phew, as the AA couldn't get there until 10.30 and we had to be out of the apartment by 10

Oh, and we're now on the move again! Yaaay!

Glad you're feeling better Crommers :Hi:

Afternoon all, it’s just started to rain. Could tell it was coming because it’s gone very dark in the last half hour.

It’s been very humid all morning again. The Tesco delivery was half an hour early, I hadn’t got the bags ready or Bill’s Kong. He has to have that as a distraction because he gets too excited when he sees the Tesco man  Brian the Hermes man has been too and now I’m just waiting for Amazon.

Hope Kaz has a good journey back from Devon x

Great to see you’re in good spirits Crommers!

Enjoy yourself Ria!

Flippin’ predictive text - Kaz was changed to ‘Katz’and Ria’s been ‘Aria’, ‘Rita’ and ‘Risa’ (which was a bar in Birmingham a few years back ) before I was able to type her name properly

Have a good day all :D

Seriously, he's been so good on this holiday, bless him :) He's been on boats, trotted up hills, slept quietly under tables while we ate, he's really enjoyed himself :D
