Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 28 Aug 2021, 05:28

Good morning.

Another warm day forecast.

The house went on sale on Wednesday....today there are 17!!! viewings lined up.

They start at 11am and go right through to the afternoon.

Michele is going to do them. I just cannot face it :? so I'm jumping on a train into Glasgow.

Sis will be great at showing folks round.

Tonight we've been asked to Uncle Vic's for a family party.

Have a good day.

Morning everyone

grey and cloudy start, but hopefully the sun will come out later.

Good luck with the viewings Ally, hope Michele has a voice left at the end of the day ;) Don't estate agents do it there?

Have a lovely time with Chris, Kaz xx

Gentle day for us. Grumpy has to anoint me three times a day  and for sucha big bloke, he's being very careful - too careful, I think   Some wafting of the duster for me, he has the vacuuming and mopping.

I had hoped to get in the pool later, ah, I've just looked out of the window, the clouds are on their way and the blue sky is coming out to play :Hi: I will get in the pool later, if only to have a walk. It will do the scar good, the salt water 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning you lot - morning everyone

Ally, wowzer, that is a lot of viewings! Good luck x
Cruiser hope you have a relaxing Saturday
Jan, the salt water will be good - hope you manage to get into the pool
Kaz, enjoy the time with Chris; will be lovely for you to see him again

A pootling day for me, both inside and outside. The weather is decidedly not summer. Admittedly not cold but not warm either and the skies are a dull grey and it doesn't look like the sun will come out to play at all today.

But my good news for the day is that Nadine and I booked a holiday yesterday - 6 days in Tenerife; Monday to Saturday. We've never been before and no idea what to expect but we got a good deal with the BA website, just over £500 each for flights, hotel with junior suite (which probably isn't very big but still) and transfers to / from the airport. Heading over the week of 4th October - cannot wait!!!

Have a lovely day everyone x

It's like that round here too Ally, houses are selling really fast. I know what you mean about not being easy to face it though; it's not easy.
Ria, how lovely! I bet you have a great time. Enjoy your time with Chris, Kaz.

Some paperwork to do today; quite a bit really.
But it is a lovely bright morning after a dull and none too warm week; so we take the positives.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :D

The sun's finally come out here, was very dull and overcast when we woke up.

Gosh that is a lot of viewings Ally :o
Kaz enjoy your time with Chris.
Jan hope the salt water helps.
Glad Scarlett loved her pressie Saundra.

We woke up to water issues. We were getting a tiny trickle, nothing at all now. Checked with Southern Water and they are aware of the problem, a crew is out trying to fix it. No shower, just a quick strip wash. At least I managed to get enough water to get the coffee pot going, without my two mugs of fresh coffee it really would be a disaster

Planning to pop into town for a few bits and a stroll round the harbour, wonder if I should carry a placard saying unclean  No other plans, we'll spend the rest of the day catching up with the paralympics, more medals :D :D :D

Hope you all have a good day xx

Afternoon all, it’s sunny here.

I’ve got the house to myself until tomorrow evening. Tom’s still in Surrey, Joe’s still in Leeds and John’s gone to visit his mother. We didn’t fancy taking Bill with it being a trip down the M5 on a bank holiday weekend so I’ve stayed home with him.

Al, I hope all goes well.
That reminds me of when our old house went up for sale. On the day it went on the estate agent website we had over 20 viewings booked for the next three days, thankfully the third couple to view it made an immediate offer which was accepted so the remaining viewings were cancelled.

Have a lovely day with Chris, Kaz!

Have a good day all :D
