James has now produced his first meal (cheese on toast - very late lunch for Mick) and my lovely orange kettle has produced a cup of tea and a cup of coffee.

He looks wonderful - I will get photos later.

Sadly I had not planned anything for dinner tonight as I didn't know if he would be in and working so we will be testing out the warming plates with a take away. Although L wants to christen him by cooking some pasta so she could be the second person to use him, Mick being the first.

I never get chance to watch him on a Saturday morning Ally as we are always riding so I usually watch the best bites programme on a Sunday.

He has made dinner. Pasta and left over bolognaise sauce for the girls.

Later on he will be warming my take away.

And tomorrow I have big plans for him. He can finish cooking the rabbit stew, make some cheesey nibbles and some onion marmalade. And do something with the stale, left over hot cross buns - I think some sort of bread and butter pudding.

He will be busy.

Here is James in situ.

He just needs to be boxed in now and have the splashbacks added - they are going to be sheets of stainless steel.

Oh it (sorry - he!) looks fabulous!!!!!!! :D 8-) :D

Stale hot cross buns make a fab pudding baked in a custardy sauce, sandwiched first with apricot jam or marmalade. I did have the recipe on my old netbook - I made it one Easter - but not on this one - Sorry
