Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 27 Aug 2021, 05:13

Good morning.

Another lovely warm day forecast.

A day of here, there and everywhere for us today including charity shops, dried food drop offs at various supermarkets and bedding for a cat & dog home.

A visit to uncle Stanley then off to see our cousin Virginia who flew in from the Cayman Islands yesterday.
She's here for a month.

This evening we're off to cousin Ryan's and his wife Nicola's house as they're having a BBQ.

Have a good day.

morning everyone, happy Friday

see there are two threads so copied Cruisers post into this one ;-)

Ally, hope you manage to get everything done today and enjoy the visit with the families. Hope your cousin wasn't too badly affected by the hurricane in the Caymans the other day?
Cruiser, enjoy the pedicure and then the garden. The weeds are growing at silly paces at the moment - the weather is just perfect for them

I'm going to be mobile working today. Nadine has a hospital appointment today at 11.30 and I'm taking her. It's her first eye test as part of diabetes check / control. We're not sure how long it will last - all depends on whether the consultant will do in person appointments afterwards or via phone or who knows how, so planning on being there anything between 1 and 3 hours :D So laptop, phones, chargers and work are coming with me and afterwards we will be treating ourselves to a ladies wot lunch afternoon

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all, it’s a dull one.

My Tesco order is due within the hour. John’s gone to Preston for a meeting but thinks he’ll be back mid-afternoon. Joe’s in Leeds with Amanda, it the first day of the festival today and I’m so envious that they’re seeing Liam Gallagher tonight. They’re not camping though, they’re in an airb&b. Tom’s in Surrey visiting Shannon’s family.

Have a good day all :D

Morning everyone

Sun out now, after the earlier mist.

Good luck for Nadine, Ria xx Hope all goes well x

I need to do some hand washing - no point asking Grumpy, by the time I've explained, I'd have done it and it would be out on the line  Then clean the bathroom that I didn't get around to yesterday.

Back to the centro de saude (thinking of moving in   ) to change the dressing. No idea how long they will want to carry on seeing me, will ask Carla later. Started the new antibiotics this morning, so only another 8 days to go

Pit stop on the way back, coffee for me, Grumpy is now allowed a beer

Enjoy your day with the family Ally x

Hope Osc is having a lovely time x

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Dry and dull although it does look as though the sun's trying to peep out now.

Have a lovely day meeting up with family Ally.
Ria good luck to Nadine, as Saundra says the diabetes eye check isn't usually a lot different to going to the optician.
Hope the new meds help Jan xx

Washing day here, that and the bed change is enough to keep me busy. Also got a Sainsbury's delivery due between 1-2pm, the e-mail says it's all coming bar one item which isn't urgent. We'll be catching up with the paralympics later, more medals :D :D :D

Hope you all have a good day xx

My stomach is not a sight for the faint hearted

No bandaging from now on, I have some liquid to wipe over the scar three times a day for the next week or so and that's it :Hi: :Hi:

Bliss, shower tomorrow and a swim. Well, maybe a walk in the pool ;)

Nowhere near as hot now, but still pleasant enough to sit out in 8-)
