Gosh it's dark.

Myself and a few neighbours have our lights on!

Officially sunset isn't till 20:32 and we have civil twilight till 21:09 and yet here we are with the lights on!

Even a few of the street lights have fired up in sympathy.

OK, no street lights on here, but I'd struggle with no lights on in the house... definitely getting darker a lot earlier

Saundra, I was thinking about the autumn version of the double quilt. The days are OK, but the nights!

Cold again, and windy.

We’ve noticed that the street lights are coming on as we walk home with Bill after his evening walk.

I went out onto the street to get the bins in before walking Bill after lunch and decided that I was going to need a warm coat when I took him out, it was more like late October.

20:23 to be precise.

Warm? I consider 19°C to be warmish. September is 9°C - 16°C in a good year - woolly jumper weather imo. We are not far off that now!
