Yes, we now have the keys. They are hoping to be back by early October, sooner if they can make it.

Got another appointment at Portimao Hospital, next month. So fingers crossed the operation is looking nearer. I'm going to see a doc over the week-end and get some bloods done, so I can take that. Saves having to go back and have it done there.

Warming up nicely now 8-)

Afternoon all, another scorcher here too. We were over in Miss Osc’s house this morning, Edward had a little job to do and I watered all their pots, some of the garden - and myself when the hose popped off the spray bit  We went on the bus and walked home. In continental fashion, we both nodded off after lunch - siesta dontcha know ;) Now I need to do some bits and pieces around the house, and take in the washing.

Thanks for asking Saundra. He is coming along ok, they diagnosed gout in his feet and his spine. Yesterday he had bloods done and based on that, they will decide on his medication. When that is sorted apparently it will deal very successfully with the pain. He has been through the mill. We are heading to Cork on Saturday for a get together with himself and his family, looking forward to seeing him and giving him a hug.

Thank you, we've had a wonderful evening :) Hatton Court is beautiful, and their terrace stunning views over towards the Forest of Dean. Wonderful meal, and best of all I got to hug my dear sister :) xxxx

Saundra, how lovely to have neighbours you can rely on 8-) :) xxx

Osc, I'm glad to hear that they're getting your brother's problem sorted. Wishing him well xxx
