Good morning Saundra,

Another restless night. I was awake when you posted slowly making the effort to get up. Have now had breakfast. Waiting for the bin men to come. They are
usually here early. Then just pootling. Volunteering at the vaccination clinic again this afternoon.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning Saundra, Cruiser and everyone

Misty and cool again this morning with a very grey sky. That will soon disappear and we'll have another warm day 8-)

Have a lovely day Kaz xx

Thoughts still with Ally, dad and family xx

Good for you Cruiser, will get you out and meeting people x

Off to the joy that is Pingo later. Meeting a friend and she's taking a load of books off me - normally it's the other way around

Back to do not a lot, have a swim and read.

Oh and safe journey to Chris and Lucy, they're setting off this morning. We're collecting Chris's jeep on the way back from Ourique and keeping it here.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all.

Another bad sleeper here. It's clear and a bit cooler now but getting warmer.

Nothing much planned, as is normal now, just another day to fly by. I might go see P later on and see how he is coping. Apparently the courtesy car is arriving today so that's the excitement covered.

Have a good one, everyone.

Good morning you early birds; good morning everyone

Cruiser, have fun at the clinic - I only did a few volnuteer shifts myself but thoroughly enjoyed them chatting to people and just being social.
Saundra, that's good of your neighbour to help like that - and clean gravel will make everything look so much neater
Jan, hope Pingo isn't too bad - and good luck to Chris and Lucy for their travels; how long will they be gone for; will you be looking after their house as well whilst they're away?
Frank, hope P is doing OK. How long will you need the courtesy car?

My day is same as Frank's - nothing much planned besides the usual work and pottering about in the garden. I have 100's of plastic plant pots that I'm going to sort for size and then figure out how many I really really really need to keep and then try give the rest away. Seriously if there was a Pot'aholics Anonymous support group I should join them :D :D :D Very pleasant temperature at the moment, but it's going to warm up quite a bit again. The promised thunderstorms with rain never did make an appearance yesterday

Ongoing vibes of support to Ally and family

Have a lovely day all x

Another not very busy day for us ----- dog sitting for Son@D-i-l ----as dog had her "lady bits" done last Friday and they don't want her on her own.

Usually she sits with him when he gets back from work BUT as it was Son that took her to the Vets Fri @ Tues for check up she doesn't want to sit with him .lol

Morning all, it’s been cloudy and cooler this morning which has been lovely but the cloud’s clearing now so it’s about to warm up again.

I didn’t walk Bill this morning, he’s really suffering with this intense heat and spent most of yesterday lying on the middle landing with two fans pointed at him and a big bowl of water.

I’m in limbo here  I need to hoover but John’s on a work call and I need to cut Tom’s hair but he’s finishing off some work on his laptop. I’ve just menu planned for next week and sorted out the Tesco order, and I’ve ordered a birthday card for my friend’s husband so at least I’ve got a couple of little tasks ticked off the list.

Thinking of Ally and her family xx

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :)

Saundra that's good of your neighbour, bet it will look good :) xx

Frank I was awake very early too, too blooming hot! Hope P is doing ok when you see him xx

Have a good "shift" at the clinic Cruiser :) xx

Bon voyage to your friends, Jan xx

Ria, we have far too many pots as well   xx

Victor, that made me laugh. I'm sure she'll forgive him eventually ;) xx

Thinking of Ally and her dad xxx

Aww poor Bill, Jo :( We've bought Fraggle out with us, as sitting under the awnings and buildings shade at Corretto's must be the coolest place in Gloucester - this is the most comfortable I've felt since we were last down here at the weekend xx

Mick has taken two days off, while J and P are around, but as they won't be in Gloucester until late afternoon we've come down to Corretto's to take advantage of the cool shade here 8-) Fraggle is with us, thoroughly spoiled with bits of biscuit and a nice bowl of water ;) I was hoovering at just after 7.30 this morning and had finished my cleaning by 8.30  Much too hot to do it any later. So looking forward to giving my sister an enormous hug, this is the longest time we've been separated in our lives!

Take care everyone xxx

Morning all :D

Another scorcher 8-)

Thinking of Ally and family xx

We're popping into town later, need a few bits and thought we'd have a stroll down to the harbour. Might even stop somewhere for lunch, depends how busy it is.

Hope you all have a good day xx

Morning all.
I've been expecting the cloud to burn off but it hasn't happened yet. Much fresher here today than of late.
MrsC is helping to clear Uncle Jim's house - again. There are other nieces who could help but it's always her that gets asked first. I'm not happy about it.
Later on our son is coming to see us after he finishes work and we need to do a little shop.
I was lying awake last night listening to two cats caterwauling at the end of our road - what a weird noise!
Have a good day all.
