Wife has been this morning with a 4 day isolation period

So tracking back 10 days from this Sunday games is to last Friday.

I buzzed to town for a bit of shopping and the library in the morning

Wife stayed home then after lunch we walked to the seafront to recycle glass, she went in 3 or 4 charity shops then both in Tesco Express for milk the walked home.

What is the point of test @ Grace if it is late in pinging you and cannot tell you where.

We ,me especially have been close to what must be hundreds of people since then

Looking at it logically it is all a bit strange.

The app knows which other phone(s) your phone was 'talking' to when the app-to-app alert was issued. It also knows the owner of the phone sending the alert, roughly where it was (GPS) and the exact time. For data protection reasons the phone's owner cannot be revealed, but your location and time can and should be given to you. It helps you to immediately look back to see where you were and possibly know who you might have been in contact with.

The other thing I find bonkers is that bluetooth alerts are being sent out from phones whose owners have had a positive test. Those people should be isolating not wandering about and mingling or have I got things wrong?

There was a Sun article that came up on my Facebook, apparently 500k people were pinged last week, up almost 50% on the previous week :? They're going to tweak it, as apparently it is "too sensitive" :?

I'll see if I can find it again, and post the link....

It's utter chaos Scarlett was sent home from school to isolate for 10days because a child in her class has tested positive to covid
Yet her mum and dad could go to work
I don't have a phone that I can use for test and
trace it's a complete and utter farce IMO
