Good luck with it Vic, but why only five days?

If I have read the rules right that must mean you were in contact late last week or at the weekend, so why the delay?

She lied to you.

From the Covid website:
Your self-isolation period includes the day you were last in contact with the person who tested positive for COVID-19 and the next 10 full days.

Last updated on the 8th of July.

The truth is that system "lost" you for five days before informing you, as it has done with many others.

Tough luck, Vic, thoughts for you both.
Hopefully the jabs will have done their job and kept you safe.

Vic I got a Ping way back in November. Unfortunately by the time I noticed it there was only 4 days left. Me and Tim worked backwards and sussed it out. Six days earlier I had collected my friends lost dog from the vets. She couldn’t go because she was isolating as her son was positive. I had walked to the doorstep with the dog, rang the bell and when I heard her coming I retreated up the path. She opened the door, I waved she shouted thanks and I left. I hadn’t seen her son, I’d hardly seen her but I’d been on the doorstep and for that I got pinged
