Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 12 Jul 2021, 04:23

Good morning.

Nice again. :D

A quick woody run.

Going with dad to his GP's surgery today. He's getting blood tests done.
There's also an urgent chest x-ray being organised. :?

Even though I'm in quarantine I've been told by Dr Tomlinson that I can go with dad because of his frailty.

Uncle Stefan is picking us up at 1.30. Some vibes would be very much appreciated please. X

This evening I need to register my second home testing Covid kit in preparation for tomorrow's day 8 test. It just seems like a minute ago I did say 2! The time has flown.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally,

Lots of vibes for your father.
It has been raining.
Will get the washer going soon. Then start washing crockery and putting it away.

Will have to go shopping as I have no food for lunch or dinner.
Have a good day everybody,

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

Mega vibes for your dad Ally xx

Welcome back Cruiser, hope all went well xx

What a change from the week-end! Blowing a hooley, feels cold in the wind, even though it's 23C (that's cold to me anyway  ) Blasted dog started barking at 6.30 this morning :cute:

Washing machine going - that means me getting the step ladder out, to put the washing out and getting it back in

General pootling for us, I have a list for Grumpy

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Have a good pootlng day Jan :D xx

It's looking a bit grey here, hoping it will stay dry as I'm meeting Em in town at lunchtime. Will have a tidy up and hoover round first. I'll call in to see D on my way home from town.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good morning you lot - morning everyone

((((Ally))) Sending tons of vibes and hope all goes as well as can be. So good that you're allowed to go with your dad xxx
Cruiser, hope you had a good time
Jan, I'd be quite happy with 23 here    we've got 20 and rain :(
Kaz, pack a brolly :D

I had a lovely busy weekend - gardening on Saturday and yesterday a belated housewarming BBQ at friends. Today will be a mix of pootling and working, it's rather dull outside so an indoor day I suspect.

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning all.
Grey and raining here but warm. The rain came down in stair rods last night after the footie.
Ally, lots of vibes for you and your dad. Cruiser I hope the holiday went well. 23c cold? I wish we were cold like that Jan? Enjoy your meet up Kaz and Ria, that does sound a nice weekend.
Well, not much on here again. The village is very quiet today, i think everyone is sleeping off yesterdays hype and beer.
Have a good day all.

Morning all *checks she is on right thread*. It’s fairly dull out with rain forecast for later, but Edward is going to head off to the golf club anyway and hopefully he won’t get wet. I am going to the gym for 11.30 and am having a pedicure at 2pm. I was expecting a delivery and it seems it will happen very neatly in the hour before I go for the pedicure, it’s DPD and they are very reliable. A few bits and pieces to be done in between times.

Vibes for your Dad, Ally, it’s good you are there to accompany him. Welcome back Cruiser, I always hate the post-holiday laundry!

Afternoon all :D

Nice and sunny right now, but it's been raining and the forecast says we're in for more.

Good luck with dad's blood tests Ally.
Hope you had a good holibobs Cruiser, it must have been quite difficult being on your own xx
Shame they lost Saundra, but they did so well to get to the final.

Our bedroom curtains look quite heavy and are fully fined, but they do let quite a lot of light through. We bought some blackout linings to add to them about 3 years ago, yesterday we finally got around to adding them  It was a bit of a palaver, but what a difference it makes, best night I've had for ages :D

Not doing much, expecting a Tesco delivery later this afternoon and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Evening all, it’s been dry all day apart from one shower an hour ago which is totally different to the forecast of a wet day.

Bill’s had two walks, the house has had it’s post-weekend top to bottom clean, washing and ironing has been done and I’ve made a lasagne and prepared a salad for dinner. I’ve also watered all of the house plants which is quite a job as we’ve got quite a collection between us, me and Tom

Joe’s had his first day back at work today after his isolation ended on Friday night.

Sending lots of vibes for your Dad, Al xx
