Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 11 Jul 2021, 04:09

Good morning.

Another nice day. :cute:

A woody wander to start the day.

More shed painting. Not glittery pink unfortunately Saundra  but fire engine red comes a close second.

It's quite a big shed (or gang hut as mum used to call it  ) so it will take me another couple of days.

I've been informed so impressed is father with my painting skills the greenhouse is next for a brush up.

The word bored just doesn't come into my orbit!

Have a great day.

Sun, sun, sun - here it comes....

But thunderstorms forecast for the late afternoon. It is pleasant but the humidity is at 90% so a bit muggy.

Nothing at all planned here, just an easy day. Might have a dram or two with Jan and Shell on their birthdays.... and rumour has it that there's a football match on later!

Enjoy!

Morning everyone

Rather warm already but no sun, just grey sky

Grumpy will be pool boy this morning and I'm doing nothing at all. I've watered the tomatoes and I'll make a salad for dinner, but that's it. I had planned on a lovely dinner, but 40C plus means that's been knocked on the head. Much cooler tomorrow, so will cook an amended version then.

Will have a beer or three before the footie and maybe a brandy afterwards - win or lose

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

The sun's out here, and warming up a bit 8-) Out at the moment, B needed a lift to work so we came out early for brekkie, and dropped her off first. We left Fraggle to see how he gets on alone, it's only for an hour or so as we'll collect him en route to D's. A little apprehensive, but there may be times when we can't avoid leaving him so thought we'd see how he gets on.....

Red sounds fun Ally :D xx

It's been horribly muggy here lately, Frank, but much fresher today. Enjoy the football later xx

Jan that's so hot! Take care both, and happy birthday to you :) xx

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all.
Grey and close here atm.
Nothing on except the footie tonight and tbh I'm not that bothered either way. MrsC however has got the England flag out!
Our Sunday dinner is cooking and it smells wonderful!
After some faff I found that our old telly is in fact a smart TV and i can watch Amazon prime on it, which is nice.
Have a good day all.

Morning all :D

Dull and overcast but dry for now.

Not much happening here, we'll be having roast chicken with salad, choccy blancmange with orange jelly for pud. E will be glued to the box this evening, I hope they win, but I'll do my best to avoid it

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Welcome back, Cruiser!

Currently drizzling down here, so a bit of a slow day, TBH. Had a home-made goulash for lunch, followed by a slice (or two  ) of Master O's birthday cake with a cuppa tea afterwards.

Neither Mrs O or I are into Wimbledon, all that bonk-bonk, thirtee-fortee  , and I'll be avoiding the footie like the plague. I can't be doing with all the screeching jingoism. That just leaves an episode of Midsomer Murders on TV this evening, but unfortunately it's one Mrs O is word-perfect on  , so it'll probably be an early night with a good book to read ....

Or I might just binge-watch the third series of "Mayans MC" on iPlayer ......
