So she's off on her travels UPDATED

Oh gosh, she's had a touch of heatstroke! I had a message on my wall to say everything was fine, but the email she sent says she's had a touch of heatstroke but is ok now!!! I did worry that the heat might be a bit much - she wilted in Lanzarote! She missed the rafting trip today, but said she didn't mind that too much as the others said it was scary and very hot!

On the plus side she is thrilled as they have rearranged another trip to the orangs, so won't miss out on seeing them after all!

Oooh heatstroke, the poor girl I hope she's feeling better soon. She sounds a lot like Tom in that respect, he doesn't deal very well with high temperatures. He's the reason why we always go out of season if we go abroad.

Thanks both Weka that's what I told her Jo does Tom have a lot of red in his hairand freckles? B has freckles and a lot of natural red in her hair.........that skin and hair type never do well in the heat

I think I can stop worrying now - just received this

Hey Mum! Saw the orangs yesterday, got some amazing pics, they came really close! Survivor island was absolute paradise, we went on a river cruise to see the proboscis monkeys and today we went to the festival (which was postponed till august so we went to an agricultural place instead with lots of pretty plants a long drive over some mountains and hills)! Tomorrow we have a street market (might buy you something if you're lucky) and on Monday we're going to the zoo where they do elephant rides!
