Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 25 Jun 2021, 05:24

Good morning.

Hot as hell.

I've been for a quick run and came home to a cold shower.

Coffee and a swim then a day in the shade somewhere.

Conor's coming over late afternoon and the 4 of us are going out for a beer and dinner. We've yet to decide where as we all fancy something different so think it'll be names in a hat to decide.

Have a great day.

Good morning Ally and anybody else who is up.

Had an early start. Was old yesterday the plasterer was coming at 7.30 a.m. He was here on time to start work.
Will be getting a testing kit this morning.

Have also made an appointment to go and have one precruise. I go on 7th July 2021.

Good morning Ally and Cruiser - and good morning everyone else; happy Friday

Ally, dull and overcast and rainy here :? Probably just as well as I really need to do a lot of vacuuming and indoor cleaning; and this weather doesn't tempt me to go outside :D
Cruiser, well done to have a tradesman in at 7.30am - that's impressive ;-) and good luck with all the test. Will you have friends on the same cruise?

As said a usual day of work / pootling for me. And a trip to Sainssburys' - I've got a friend coming over for brunch tomorrow so need to get stuff in for that.

have a lovely day everyone xxx

Morning everyone

Lovely morning 8-)

We were halfway through the first coffee and suddenly thought about watering the plants, so just done all of that  Dead chuffed with the amount of tomatoes we have :Hi:

Cleaning for us this morning and a pop down to the bar later.

It's our 39th wedding anniversary, so a lovely dinner is planned 8-)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s dull and dry here although we had plenty of much-needed rain overnight and there’s still a bit in the air.

John’s working from home today, his car’s being serviced and he’s got a lot of work to do which needs his full concentration so he can work with no interruptions here unlike in the office. It’ll get a bit noisy shortly though as the Tesco delivery is due within the hour and Bill’s already waiting in the window, he’s seen me getting the bags ready so he knows. It’s the highlight of his week and he hasn’t met a delivery driver yet that he hasn’t fallen instantly in love with and howled when they’ve had to leave

Joe’s home at lunchtime, not sure of his plans for later although he usually naps on the sofa on Friday afternoons - his early starts all week catch up with him

Happy Anniversary to you both, Jan!

Have a good day all :)

Good morning all.
Happy anniversary Jan. Jo, Bill is a softie.
It's a dull morning here and we don't have much planned outside a visit to Sainsbury's.
Oh and I've got the remains of a dinner table to chop up and as my shoulder is giving me gyp I may splash out on a mini chainsaw. Boys and their toys, eh?
Have a good day all.

Happy anniversary Jan - enjoy the dinner tonight x

Crommers, I'd love to have a small chainsaw - got so many logs etc that need chopping and I've been putting of. My brother has lent me his but it's such a big one - I have very healthy respect for it (so much so that I haven't dared use it yet    ). I actually need to dig it out from under everything in the shed and have another look and see just how bad it can be :D
