Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 22 Jun 2021, 04:35

Good morning.

Scorchio.

Off for a walk.

Back for a swim and a coffee.

Then I'm booking all the stuff I need to book online to enable me to get to dad's.

A PCR test here for 2 July.

Then I need to book two tests for days 2 & 8 when I'm at dad's. A courier will deliver the tests, wait for me to do them and he'll take them away.
This needs to be booked and paid for first as I need the reference booking numbers to put on my travel declaration form. Which is 4 pages long.

After this I'll need a cool down swim.

Delivery Chinese for dinner tonight and lots of footie. :D

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Another grey start to the day and blowing a hooley, so that north wind   Supposed to be warmer and better weather as from today

Overslept

it's such a palaver, this flying lark now, isn't it Ally? A friend had to jump through hoops when her flight back to Scotland was cancelled, took all the joy of the holiday away.

Washing machine on, although I'll have to put all the pegs on the sheets, to keep them there  Was hoping to iron everything this afternoon, but we'll have to wait and see now.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning from sunny Wicklow. When we woke yesterday, it was like October, dull, windy and cold. It did improve as the day went on though, and we went to the village of Enniskerry which has been transformed for the Disney film Disenchanted. That was fun. Then we came back for lunch with a vague plan to go for a walk, but that plan went by the wayside as we just sat in the sun. Watched footie in the evening. Today is nice and sunny, although always that sea breeze. The same walk is planned  and it might happen this time!

Morning all :D

It was raining first thing, but seems a bit brighter now.

Not sure what we're doing today, I need to send a top back to QVC. Shame as it's really pretty, but although I already have one the same size in a different colour, this one is way smaller. Shame really, their sizing is usually good, luckily they have a 60 days returns policy. Afterwards, depending on the weather, the plan is to pop round and park at Waitrose so E can get his hair cut at the barber opposite while I get a few bits in the store.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon all :)

That sounds like a bit of a palaver Ally, but well worth it to get to see your dad :) xx

What's going on with your weather Jan?. xx

I saw your photos Osc, it did look pretty :D xx

Cruiser it's amazing how much stuff you find, when you turn out cupboards :? xx

Hope you're having a good day Saundra xx

That's annoying Jen, and surprisingly common. I found this with some M&S jeggings, the black ones were far smaller than the blue  xxx

B and I have just got home from D's. We walked into town first. It's very breezy today, sunny on and off, so my washing is dry. I think the pollen must be very high, my sinuses and throat are very itchy. Lamb chops and baked Mediterranean veg for dinner. Might do Zumba tonight, although I've already done well over my step count, so might not.

Love to all xxx

No idea  Been blowing a hooley most of the day, a bitterly cold north wind this morning, but warmed up a bit now. Up north has had rain, thunderstorms and massive hailstones, but we hope that by the end of the week, we'll be a little warmer. Not even making 30C today

But the wind dried the washing, although I used a lot of pegs

Mitch rang earlier, he's had his second eye done and is very happy, although not that happy, as he can see cobwebs, where he couldn't before

And Steve has just rung, he needs directions to Mitch's house and also has some home-made sausages for us :Hi: We'll pop in tomorrow, on our way back from shopping.

I've tried - and failed  - to renew my driving licence on line, so need to pop into the driving school tomorrow, so they can do it.

But managed to get me sorted with the certificate for having both jabs. It's on my phone and I have no idea how I'm supposed to sort it out from there - I have a very old phone  I'll do Grumpy tomorrow, hopefully.
