Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 20 Jun 2021, 05:36

Good morning.

Scorchio and sunny. 8-)

I've been for a quick run. Great to avoid the building heat and it's my favourite time of the day. I love the sense of peace it brings. :D

Will have a coffee and a swim then get ready as we're going to Cartama market. After a mooch we'll have brunch in one of the little bars.

Home to strip off  and jump in the pool. I'll spend the rest of the day by it reading.

We've got chicken fillets for dinner. Last year in Tesco I bought a few Colman's 'season & shake' bags. You pop the fillets in to the dried seasoning , give them a squish round, tie the bag with the wire thing attached and bung them in the oven. So quick and easy and delicious served with salad and a jacket potato.

Have a great day everyone.

Happy Father's Day to my dad and all the other dads. xx

ETA... FB has told me it's 8 years ago today I went to see Bruce Springsteen. 8 years MM??!!

Morning Ally, Saundra and everyone

Another dull, grey and cool day

Soundds a lovely morning Ally, enjoy :D

Off to Ourique soon, the centro de saude opens early this morning and I need a medical to renew my driving licence. Normally a formality, but I'll have to see which doctor it is.

Then onto Pingo. They're doing no iva if you spend over 50 euros, so we'll stock up on the bulky stuff.

Back home for breakfast and then not a lot. No pool - too cold, with that north wind :cute: :cute:

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

We have had rain and there are still grey skies. but the sun is trying to pock through.

Just pootling as it is too wet to do any gardening.
Have a good day everybody.

Morning all, it’s mostly cloudy but the sun seems to be making an effort. We’ll be on the road to Wicklow within the hour - usual thing, going by car so bring everything but the kitchen sink! The forecast isn’t too bad for the next few days, we’ll be happy if it doesn’t rain.

Afternoon all :D

Quite bright here, but it rained overnight, anybody's guess how the day will turn out.

No plans for this afternoon, it's definitely not a garden day. Having an easy dinner this evening, M&S cottage pie with veg followed by E's favourite vanilla blancmange with lemon and lime jelly, oh and a bottle of bubbly to celebrate his special day.

Happy Fathers Day to all Dads Image

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon everyone :)

Happy Father's Day to all the VV dads, and dads of all descriptions :)

Ally, those season bags are very good :) xxx

Saundra, great way of recycling those old boxes 8-) xxx

Glad you got that sorted Jan  :Hi: :D xxx

Hope you enjoyed your pootling day Cruiser :) xxx

Have a fantastic time Osc :D xxx

We were up early as Mick gave B a lift to work. She gave Mick a sweet stepdad card, from Moonpig - I gave him one from the dogs that I saw in the card shop, and couldn't resist :P  After brekky at Corretto's, where we had to sit inside as it was so chilly out, we went round to see D. Back home by about 1 O'clock, and I made a chilli, and tried out my new microwave rice cooker. It works very well :Hi:

Love to all :) xxx

Well we have another sunshiney day - cloudy first thing but then got sunny - we've been to Durham to walk, stopped twice for a drink in the sunshine :) Not seen any of the girls as D and J are at Flamingoland till tomorrow and we saw A yesterday, when we went to watch her have a fitting for her wedding dress!! So a peaceful day for Fathers Day :D

Hugs for all not able to spend Fathers Day with your dad, for whatever reason ((((((((((())))))))) xx
