Two hours teaching...my last class with them as they're all doing the exam later this month and we break up tomorrow for the summer.

Meeting my friend for coffee and a pitufo.

Work 4- 7 then meeting Don, Jacob and Conor for a beer and a bite to eat.

Grey clouds but the sun is trying to come out. Had a few spots of rain last night.

Dull, grey and we had some rain and more expected, hopefully, anyway

Big story here, a 2 year old has gone missing, up north, went for a walk with his dog. Dog returned, no boy. Massive operation underway, keeping everything crossed for a happy outcome.

Up late, no point in getting up early, so had coffee in bed. A cooked breakfast later and we'll find something to so. I'll clean all the tiles in the shower room and give everything a good scrub in there. No idea what Grumpy will do

Morning all, it’s a nice morning here, Edward is already out cleaning the downstairs windows - as we live in a converted shop, the windows are quite big! I have a wash on and am going to change the bed. We’ll have Michael and Kellie later. I want to make an appointment to get my nails done on Saturday, so I’ll pop into the nail bar on my way to collect Kellie.

How sad about that little boy, I hope he is found safe and well soon.

Morning all

It's feeling a tad cooler after the heavy rain, thunder and lightening we had last night.

Very sad about the little boy Jan, hope he's found safe and sound.

My hairdressing appointment got moved from Tues to today at 1pm. My stylist, the owner, is away (goodness knows where) so I've got her daughter instead. Bit annoying as it means going to the small salon in town so no free parking. I did think of making my first bus ride, but apart from the risk of getting caught in a shower, E reminded me I'd be coming home around school finish time which means the buses will be full of teenagers, not ideal at any time!

Afternoon all. We had violent storms, hours of thunderstorms and torrential rain last night.

However the drop in temperature and humidity is very welcome. Nice for my office to be under 30c too.

I spent what was left of my morning digging a found for a new base for 3 water butts and concreting the found. It started raining as I went out to mix the concrete. Wet or not it was preferable to blazing sun, humidity and ambient 33c temps.

The pool is now full of green gunk and the pump has failed again. Another pump in the offing, possibly tomorrow if I can find time to go to the pool shop. Amazon have one but no delivery before Wed and I need the gunk out of the pool and the water circulating. At least the well is refilling after the end failed on one of the hoses and the automatic pump faithfully tried to pump the well dry.

Back to my desk now.

I hope they find the little boy Jan, nightmare for the parents.

We've rumbles of thunder, but no rain yet and it's quite windy.

All the tv stations are reporting about the little boy. They've now found his wellington, jumper and nappy, by a river.

The forensic bods are looking at foul play

We had a case a year or so ago, when a little girl was very badly treated and then killed by her step-father.

There really are some evil people in this world.
