Good morning everybody,

Grey skies but the sun is trying to come out. Just another day pootling.
Took the car for a sevice yesterday. The garage makes you leave just the car key so I took the door keysoff the key ring. I thought I had put them in the shopping bag.
Went and picked the car up and got home but could not find the door keys. I have a spare set attached to the shopping bag so I was not locked out.
Phoned the garage and a coffee shop I went to after leaving the car but they had not been found.
There is no identification to show which house they belong to. So went to a shop which sells locks and other hardware and had two new keys cut.

WEnt to put the washer on this morning while I was having breakfast and I am getting an error message. So will phone the local firm where we
bought it from. They also do servicing and repairs. I don't feel confident to start trying to fix it.

Will just be pootling again
Have a good day everybody

Morning everyone

Lovely, sunny and warm morning.

Been up for hours, done the watering, washing out, breakfast and then again / no internet :cute: :cute: Managed to get it going, more by luck than judgement

it's a holiday here, but I think we'll be staying put. Too hot to be out and about.

Cruiser, unplug it, swear at it, then plug it back in. it worked with my lap-top

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, it’s dull and humid at the moment.

Bill had an early walk, Joe’s home as he’s booked a few days off work. I’m waiting for Hermes to deliver a parcel in the next two hours and there’s also an Amazon one due at some point today. I’ve got to walk over to the post office too to send a couple of items.

I’m also going to order a new fan, me and Joe went out and panic bought a cheap tower fan a couple of hot Summers ago after trying several places that were out of stock so I’m going to get something a bit more powerful.

Cruiser, not a good start so I hope the day gets better!

Have a good day all :D

Morning all, it looks nicer out there than it actually is - Edward went out to take in the bin and said it is rather cool, here by the sea we often get an onshore breeze. Supposed to get rather warm later. Supermarket delivery this morning, and my M&S order already arrived by post. We don’t have Michael and Kellie today as we had them here overnight on Tuesday, so once the supermarket has arrived, the day is our lobster! I don’t imagine we will do much though

Cruiser, how annoying for you, they’ll probably turn up somewhere unexpected. I’m impressed with you having a spare one on your shopping bag!

Morning all.

Hot and humid at 77% and set for 24 - 25 °C this afternoon.

Cruiser, switch it off, hold the button and pick Power off. Leave it a few mins then turn it on again. Try that before the shop. And Sod's law, as soon as you get new keys cut the old ones will turn up.

I need a few new cotton T shirts so that's a trip to Yorkshire Trading and then a visit to the Polish lads on the way back for a car wash and possibly a valet.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny here 8-)

Hope you get the washer fixed. Great idea to have an extra set of keys in your shopping bag. My handbag has a key fob inside so my house keys are always attached. Saves a lot of worry.

We had a lovely lazy day in the garden yesterday and methinks it will be much the same today. The only interruption will be the Sainsbury's delivery this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe xx

Afternoon everyone :)

It's cloudy and warm here, not much sun. D and I have done our usual Sainsbury's run I've been back about 40 minutes, and Mick and I have just had lunch.

You were an early bird Saundra :) xxx

Cheese and onion sounds yummy Ally :) xxx

Glad you had that spare key Cruiser! We have a key safe on the outside wall of the garage, as at one time B was always losing her door key  Forcing an unexpected reboot on your washing machine may well do the trick ;) I used to have an LG with loads of electronics on it, and it often threw a hissy fit at me! :cute: Now I have a pretty basic cheap one - does a lovely job, and never any problems with it :geek:

Take it easy in the heat Jan :) xxx

Nice to have Joe home, Jo :) xxx

Have a good Lobster Day, Osc :D xxx

Have a great Garden Day Jen :) xxx

Love to all xxx
